Many of the AOMG artists are hella respected in the industry. Simon D, Jay Park, Loco, Gray, Lee Hi. You'd see them on big tv shows in SK way more than you'd see Dreamcatcher, Everglow, etc.. even if music video views dont say so. Also not saying the groups I'm listing are not popular because they are but sometimes artists pay for ad-driven views meanwhile the khiphop industry is a lot less likely to pay for these things.
But isn't America the same? There are many singers who are on the album chart but not on the Hot 100 chart. and In Korea, there are many singers besides idol bands.
