I’ve taken apart several of those lately. I have to depend on someone else for transportation so I break them down till there’s nothing left. Gold, copper, aluminum, tin. You know. The last one was so big and heavy. I weighed the base,it was 11 pounds. Real hernia maker. Keep scraping I’ll keep watching.🐎🌻✌️
That big one I had looked just like the big one you got., about 50”. Very heavy but not a lot of copper. Mostly aluminum. Has some small screws I’m having a hard time removing.🐎🌻✌️
The gold fingers with the ribbons… what is that rectangle in the center of the ribbons. I CAN NOT find any information on them and majority of videos i find they are just disregarded. I have sooo many fingers and a dumb amount of the ribbons and I have no idea whats in the middle of them its been driving me nuts.
Are you talking about the ribbon itself? What’s in the ribbon? I’ve heard it’s just a small amount of copper sometimes they can run gold throughout but highly doubtful
the plastic peace on the perfical boarde are they sailable? I know you mentioned the name of a place in Ontario that you ship your e-wast to in a video a while back . What was that name?
@@garywhelton9304 there is a little gold in those plastic finger attachments you are referring to. I leave them on if I can to add to the weight of the board. Those are what I cut to release the board. If they fall off I will keep and throw in with the board. I am sure people will buy them for gold recovery, but they are extremely light, but do have some gold inside.
Here in Alberta there's no money in ewaste I'd like to find someone that would buy the gold plated stuff I have saved up plus all the other goodies thatso hidden inside electronics!
I think in the future we are going to see several online options to sell the gold ewaste, especially with gold prices and use. Nice that it does not take up a lot of space. Retirement!
@@TinManScrapper I'd like to see that happen for the Canadian micro scrappers! It would save so much from being sent to developing countries! I will be saving stuff for years to come to either sell off or try my luck with refining once I have my own place and a proper set up but the cost still out ways the profite to get the materials needed haha I'd be happy to send it off to a fellow scrapper though kinda pay it forward for all the hard work and knowledge I've gained from the scrapping community! ♻🌎😎👍

I do flat screens also but I love the old box TV's
Your scrap yard buys mosfets as #2 copper? Half of their weight is polymer. On a side note do you save up your bga chips?

Aluminum is good as well. Can get some good weight from the aluminum heat sinks and brackets
