I raced in the low end 350+ group. I was one of 2 D cat and held on till the Aqueduct. Was sick for several days before and just jumped on bc i had been reading about this. Got bumped to C immediately after the race tho 😂. Shouldn't have raced that really
The chat is hilarious. I guess I did the same as those As as a B racing with Ds, just pain dealing for the hell of it. But it's for science so it's OK right? Would have been far worse if there were any hills to speak of.
There's a point where self preservation takes over, and you know there's no chance you can hang on to the group without killing yourself. My race was pretty much the same thing.
