Drivers that move over a side for bikers because they pay attention of whats going on around them, and they check their mirrors! not like some people just sit on their phone!
With RJ, you dont need mirrors, you can hear him coming... yet, still alot of people just ignore him, and other bikers, because they are stuck in traffic. I've seen alot of clips of RJ following other bikers while filtering, and even when 2 3 or even 4 bikes went through, most people, that have the space to move, just keep standing still and looking like... ah, I dont give a fuck. while those few inches can do alot for a bike, but they just arrogant a**holes.
I'm having my final motor license exam in half an hour. I'm too damn nervous! But watching you ride helps me to relax a bit. Keep up the awesome motovlogs RJ!
+Pee Oh Trek In his defense, this was quite entertaining too :P But yes, nothing to say against some pieces of road rage, explosions, flying body parts and shit... wait what
Best place I've ridden for people helping you through when filtering is Northern Ireland. Maybe it's respect for bikers as the road races there are huge events, but you feel like a modern day Moses parting a sea of cars!
+Bobby Backmarker Agreed! I ride myself here, vast majority of drivers normally leave good space for filtering bikers, think its just accepted as the way they should drive with all the media here around looking out for bikers and as you say the huge fan base of the road racing.
+I007IRedemption Really I'm from Belfast and I don't see a huge difference compared to other places I've ridden I get just as many people blocking my gap as letting me through.
Sometimes you look like you're in a hurry when you filter, the way you rev the engine, but somehow you manage to calmly raise your hand and salute every driver that is nice to you. Well done Sir!
I love that you say thank you. Ive moved out of the way for bikers many times and the amount of times you get no thank you or recognition! :) Keep it up RJ!
It's great to show this part of riding, so many riders are only showing the bad ones, it's like saying to future bikers "Don't pass your license, it is no fun, you will face death at least 3 times per minute". From my experience I can tell that a large majority of drivers are attentive and even kind with bikers.
Honestly said, 4 years of being a driver I never knew how to treat bikers rightly, until I found RJ's videos early this year. Since then until this day, if the situation is right I tried my best to make a way for bikers. Thank you RJ for opening this blind hearted and eyes of mine. :,)
+OfficialHydracor looks like all cops do that, whatever country you drive/ride in, ours do too, but if even if you know all is ok, you just have that feeling like something is about to go down right?
I’m a little confused about the squeezing through cars thing. It seems like an unnecessary risk regarding damage to your bike, their cars and your life.
Love love LOVE this vid!! Truly warmed the cockles of my heart. :-) It always makes me wanna cry with gratitude when a driver moves over for me (but then I wouldn't be able to see and my visor would fog up and that would be bad so I don't..I just wave....but I really wanna!!)
Thank you RJ, because of your videos i have been looking out for every opportunity like these to make bike riders have an easier time on the road even if such gestures are returned as thankless.
Totally agree with what you said in the description RJ! While riding on country roads in Belgium, many drivers moved to the edge of the road so that I could overtake them without going much onto the oncoming lane but I always thought they were texting/calling/not focusing on road (thanks to all the negativity on bad drivers). But each time it happened, I saw the driver looking at me in the RVM, which confirmed that they were actually letting me go.
When I first bought my Harley and started riding, I was actually shocked when other drivers seemed to go out of their way to give me extra room and actually didn't pull out in front of me every time. This is not to suggest that the world wouldn't be a better place if someone developed an Autonomous Shocking System for use on anyone texting while driving, but watching videos put me in a mental state of near panic at the thought of what other drivers seemed to be like. It has actually been a nice experience for me.
how do people dislike your videos? lol you're the nicest dude and you don't even talk enough in the videos to actually make someone pissed haha thanks for the awesome unique content man!
I've noticed up in Lincolnshire where I live there's more and more people doing this, I've been riding nearly 3 years and when I first started I was always getting cars trying to stop me (probably because I was on a 125 ped) but now most people move over for me whether it's filtering or going down a a or b road!
old or new, expensive or cheap cars... alot of people do it, and i guess most of them are bikers themselves. Thumbs up for these people and others that do it.
RJ you have to be the filter king of London. BTW that Nuda is to die for. It my favorite bike in your collection. Its a real shame they don't make them anymore.
and then here in germany my driving instructor went like: "dont assume people dont see you on your bikes .. ride like they mean to kill you :/ so be extra carefull"
Now we just need the rest of the pricks that try to block us realise "oh shit, I can't go anywhere, but this guy is moving! Might as well let him get past me :)!"
I live in Los Angeles CA where you can filter and traffic is similar to yours. I see more people get out of my way than people being assholes and not letting me through, especially if you ride at a decent pace. People usually try to do good.
Unfortunately I get just as many drivers closing the gap as opening one for me. They're so petty and can't stand to see you riding on ahead while they're stuck in traffic it pisses me off.
well, but often, and i mean really often, car drivers dont 'respect' or 'accept' bikers on the road. they take priority or dont make space, complaining for everything and so on. at least that is what i see all the time here in germany. i dont know if that is some german mentality problem, like they dont grant us to have fun riding, be faster at traffic lights and stuff. but its nice to see a compilation of people who care about bikers.
Living very close to a historic road racing circuit; and growing up watching the bikes; I always try to give room to bikes. It just seems riders are very reluctant to filter/lane split around here.
First of all, I am one of those that respect the riders and always move a bit to give them space to filter. Second, I'll be on 2 wheels as well, hopefully very soon. Third, what are you riding this time? Thanks and safe ride.
This happens a lot here in Ireland. Many people will move out of your way when filtering. I'm not sure if it's the white lid and that I have my hazard lights on (not 100% legal) so they think I'm a cop or emergency services, but I'll always try to acknowledge them with a wave of thumbs up anyway! :
being a rider my self 1200Gs i find the majority of drivers i car ect friendly...you will always get one, but nice video, and hope to bump in to you one day,for a coffee . Ride safe
I always try to give the bikers some space when i am driving. I dont get too close from the back imagining an invisible border as big as a car around them. When i see them coming from the back i always, i mean ALWAYS shift a little to one side so they can get past me easily. I have a close friend who drives a bike, i learnt these little things that help bikers from him. He always tells me about how hard it is to drive a bik, especially in the massively corwded city i live in called damn ISTANBUL with 15 million people...
I like to show the good in people.
+RoyalJordanian comment below rj's for SALE!! :PP :D
+RoyalJordanian Keep it up RJ !!!
respect from morrocco
+RoyalJordanian nice rj
Fortunately , they exist . A good behavior generate a good response too ; )
ALWAYS say thank you

You'd think they were moving out of the way for royalty.
Oh wait...
I'm having my final motor license exam in half an hour. I'm too damn nervous! But watching you ride helps me to relax a bit. Keep up the awesome motovlogs RJ!
+Ricardo Snoek Good Luck :)
+Ricardo Snoek good luck dude
Good luck!! Took my license a year ago, know the feeling but everything will be fine!
+Ricardo Snoek
remember, no wheelies
+Ricardo Snoek I'm doing AVD at the end of June, unfortunately there's no spot for me earlier in their planning. Have a good one!
I try and say thanks to any driver that gives me space, hopefully the little bit of appreciation will go a long way.
I agree, unfortunately it's the bad ones that make the videos entertaining!
+Pee Oh Trek it really is hahaha
+Pee Oh Trek XD so true
#russianroadragevideos xD
+Pee Oh Trek In his defense, this was quite entertaining too :P
But yes, nothing to say against some pieces of road rage, explosions, flying body parts and shit... wait what
kABUSE agreed. He's always entertaining. 😜
Best place I've ridden for people helping you through when filtering is Northern Ireland. Maybe it's respect for bikers as the road races there are huge events, but you feel like a modern day Moses parting a sea of cars!
+Bobby Backmarker A lot of us are Isle of Mann TT fans. Perhaps RJ should consider going this year. They do allow fans to ride the closed course btw.
I've found anywhere north of Inverness pretty good for driver courtesy.
Not that there's much up there beside sheep, mountains and twisty roads
Can't believe the adison lee moved
+Paddys not a good mechanic What is adison lee and why are they meant to be bad drivers/
+Vaggelis Psimenos I think they are delivery drivers but in MPV s instead of Vans...
+Vaggelis Psimenos They are hire car/mini cabs kind of like taxis but different
Really love seeing those people
It happens all the time man, in life people remember and point out the negative more than the positive. A sad state of the times we live in.
Sometimes you look like you're in a hurry when you filter, the way you rev the engine, but somehow you manage to calmly raise your hand and salute every driver that is nice to you. Well done Sir!
This is like the 'dream sequence' in films. And then you wake up!
I always move over when bikes are coming through. Makes me feel good when they also don't get stuck in traffic.
I love that you say thank you. Ive moved out of the way for bikers many times and the amount of times you get no thank you or recognition! :) Keep it up RJ!
Nice to see people paying attention to traffic and respecting each and every driver/rider on the road. Thumbs up to everyone who's like this.
In Birmingham I try and wave to who ever gives room just like you but end up nearly falling off my bike
😂 😂 😂 I know the struggle. If I need to I use the very obvious head nod. kinda almost head butting the ground to show my appreciation 😂
Get a 'thank you' patch for your back, job done :D

They're the ones NOT using their mobiles & actually paying attention.
obsessed with your videos. really makes me want to get on the bike everytime i watch them.... brilliant rider
It's so stress-relieving to watch a video like this one once for a change.
Honestly said, 4 years of being a driver I never knew how to treat bikers rightly, until I found RJ's videos early this year. Since then until this day, if the situation is right I tried my best to make a way for bikers. Thank you RJ for opening this blind hearted and eyes of mine. :,)
That cop probably only got out the way so he could check your plate with his anpr hehe
+John Doe sounds about right ;)
+OfficialHydracor looks like all cops do that, whatever country you drive/ride in, ours do too, but if even if you know all is ok, you just have that feeling like something is about to go down right?

I just dont understand why cant everyone be nice to other people... This video made me happy, GOD ITS SO GOOD TO BE NICE
Loud pipes always clear the way. I feel like Moses with my Akra 😉
The hate for "cagers" is such a cliche by some bikers, there are bad ones of course but most treat you well IMO.
I can only wish people were this generous here in the states. Great video RJ
Those sounds though! Never gets old
That's some heartwarming stuff RJ.
riding a bike in london looks pretty hectic ! You do a good job and when the cars help you out, well that's just great of them .
The guy in the Bentley was 100% just protecting his car from potentially getting scraped. No Bentley driver is that polite surely lol.
Man the traffic in london is crazy
it sure is..try walking threw it..that's why ya see people looking confused about crossing a road. who ever did the traffic lights needs a slap 😂
So nice to see. Thank you for putting this up.
That is some fantastic editing. I am glad that I do not have to deal with that much traffic. Thanks for the video.
Need more uploads!! Or longer videos!! I could watch this all day
Road trip this summer from Greece to Scotland maybe we will see you on our way there! Cheers!!!!!!
Acts of consideration and thank yous.... :)
A sunny start to my day, cheers. ;)
Nice to see that there are good people to bikers too. Ride safe 👍🏻 🏍 RJ
Your bike sounds glorious! Great video as usual, RJ.
Always try and move out the way when I'm driving as I'd like to think people would when I'm riding. Nice to be thanked too.
Ah, watching this restores my faith in humanity :)
This almost brought a tear to my eye... I'm so desperate to get back on two wheels!!
:o 1:30. a considerate Addison Lee driver. That's rarer than a Unicorn
VERY NICE VIDEO 😉✌️
V MISTER ROYAL JORDANIAN
Bentley drivers are always nice
how do people dislike your videos? lol you're the nicest dude and you don't even talk enough in the videos to actually make someone pissed haha thanks for the awesome unique content man!
@RoyalJordanian Please make more of these videos. They give me a sense of cooperation in a rather unfriendly world :)
make more vids with pedestrians and rev battles...i love them
So brave/skillful to filter traffic like that. I just get in line since I am a newbie 😱.
Breath of fresh air... I don't like to go around berating people when they make a mistake. Sometimes, it's an honest one.
I'm in love with this sound 😍😍😍
I've noticed up in Lincolnshire where I live there's more and more people doing this, I've been riding nearly 3 years and when I first started I was always getting cars trying to stop me (probably because I was on a 125 ped) but now most people move over for me whether it's filtering or going down a a or b road!
do unto others what you want others do unto you. Huge respect to all those drivers
amazing , nice video ! in spain I never seen a driver do this. Thats one of the differences with a nice country and a random - low country
feeling the love in this video RJ
this shows there is hope for the world and that most people are very nice
Beautiful drives. I hope the driver could be so respectful in Turkey.
but the same on your side: you say thanks by handsigns. then it is a pleasure and makes fun the help bikers. thanks for that video
old or new, expensive or cheap cars... alot of people do it, and i guess most of them are bikers themselves. Thumbs up for these people and others that do it.
RJ this is a important one. Have you ever accidently hit/scratched/touched a car whilst lane splitting?
+TheZewec He once touched a mirror without damage, nothing else. I don't know if I'm up to date, correct me if I'm wrong :)
Almaterius Thank you mate
RJ you have to be the filter king of London. BTW that Nuda is to die for. It my favorite bike in your collection. Its a real shame they don't make them anymore.
Most people are actually nice. Its hard to filter when 90% of drivers let me pass and I wanna wave a thank you to every single one
Have u been in the netherlands once? On ur bike ?
and then here in germany my driving instructor went like:
"dont assume people dont see you on your bikes .. ride like they mean to kill you :/ so be extra carefull"
Now we just need the rest of the pricks that try to block us realise "oh shit, I can't go anywhere, but this guy is moving! Might as well let him get past me :)!"

This video was soo satisfying to watch
Good for you, in my country lot of drivers just block you when filtering because "how dare you overtake me". It is gettin better though.
It's very good.
Brăila-România ✌
Unfortunately I get just as many drivers closing the gap as opening one for me. They're so petty and can't stand to see you riding on ahead while they're stuck in traffic it pisses me off.

always spreading the positive. love it rj
Living very close to a historic road racing circuit; and growing up watching the bikes; I always try to give room to bikes. It just seems riders are very reluctant to filter/lane split around here.
The bike in slow motion sounds like a heart beat.
Hey RJ! I'm getting my new Yamaha MT-07 in a week! I am so excited and can't wait! What exhaust do you prefer? :D
Love the shotgun like sound the Nuda makes when you blip the throttle, scares the crap out of everyone lol
I like to watch it because it's make me happy and the drivers looking good in the other biker
This doesn't happen here in Spain. Biker comment. Good video RJ I hope some day I will see you in London.
First of all, I am one of those that respect the riders and always move a bit to give them space to filter. Second, I'll be on 2 wheels as well, hopefully very soon. Third, what are you riding this time? Thanks and safe ride.
I was riding on my friend's bike once, a door hit my left thigh, a pretty girl who pushed the door, couldn't be mad.
Man I'm pathetic..
I love it. In Spain, the car drivers not provided pass. They hate we spend among them
Greetings of a Spanish fan
is lane splitting legal in uk?
You need to get a light sign on the back of your bike that lights up when you hold a button, it should say "THANK YOU" :P
I fucking love your exhaust sound man, a fan from USA lol
All people are, but sometimes they don t know
This happens a lot here in Ireland. Many people will move out of your way when filtering. I'm not sure if it's the white lid and that I have my hazard lights on (not 100% legal) so they think I'm a cop or emergency services, but I'll always try to acknowledge them with a wave of thumbs up anyway! :
Why do you have your hazard lights on?
+James K It makes you very visible when filtering on major roads.
+Bobby Backmarker In Belgium, bikers often do that when there is too many traffic ;)
being a rider my self 1200Gs i find the majority of drivers i car ect friendly...you will always get one, but nice video, and hope to bump in to you one day,for a coffee .
Ride safe

+RoyalJordanian You can never have too many nice people!! Ride Safe.
I hope people will change in this way at istanbul too.
+QuickShifter Never gonna happen. Traffic in big turkish cities is one big clusterfuck.
you too you are so nice RJ
Love you ❤ from Algeria 😻
I've had a few people pull out on me, tend to remember those interactions a bit more than the positives lol
Wow, nice maneuvering skills too, but how do you not stall out stopping and going so slowly like that?
keep posting positive video RJ!
