Loved the tour. Excellent idea to drop scripts into Dropbox and use a tablet to access while recording. Having no page turns is an excellent bonus. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you Susan for your wonderful advice. I am about to set up my own home studio so was delighted with your clip on your voice over studio. I have a question about the pop screen you use. I like that model very much. You mentioned the manufacturer's name but I couldn't catch it. Could you please write it down for me? Maybe it's well known in the U.S. but I live in New Zealand and am not familiar with the brand. Thanks very much. Bill Mathews.
Thank you, I am now considering this my self, as I have a great voice, as been told so many times...and Sing Tenor!! Any tips on this, and no other spam stuff, would be greatly appreciated.
I subscribed to you perhaps 10 seconds into my first exposure you… you ever see or hear of something and know instantly that it's top-notch quality and bears attending to? You remind me of Joanne Daniels out of Atlanta great comedic actress and voiceover talent and Mimi's, my mom's GRHS best friend. Just needed this say what I did before I go on the listen for the rest of your contributions to my brandy new career in audiobook producing. Chas
Hesynergy the audio of the video is the demo itself, and its bad. The booth doesn’t work because the mic capture sound from the front, and the rooms acoustics is bad. The good point is she says about isolation. Needs to improve the place a lot
Did you record this video through that mic? I heard A LOT of room reverb in this video. The way your office looks in the video, you don’t seem to have any acoustic treatment in the room. The only treatment seems to be the Port-a-Booth. If the mic is using a cardio pattern, the sound at the back of the mic is the least of your worries anyway. The sound bouncing around the room and over your shoulders into the mic will be more problem. How does the little portable booth address that?
I just had to Take back My AT2020USB Mic. Echo, feed back, de lay .I also have windows 7 I think I need a mac work station with presonas and different mic any tips

Do you have a class or know of a voice over agent ... can I send you my demo?
Thank you!
Gotta say though, that I missed HEARING a demo of the sound quality of your little "Porta-Booth at the tail.

What about your processors. I am sure I saw some in a different video. ?
Putting your iPad inside the portabooth kind of creates more reflections!!! Oh dear!
WHERE DO YOU FIND LOCAL VOICE OVER COACHES? TO WORK WITH ME
Sounds great
From Columbus, to New York to the the Net and TH-cam. Those who can't, teach.
Why wouldn’t you recommend a beginner get a mic like that, start as you mean to go on
Holy cow! This video has terrible audio noise (rumble).
I have the bad luck of getting street things into my mic everytime... T_T
Oihane Mariñelarena same. My patience level is over 9,000 at this point due to all the practice.
You’ll either need to find another room to record in or soundproof the windows.
Ipad?? hahha O_o
