Sir..very good review. I have a 2001 mpfi 5 speed maruthi...it is still in excellent condition. AS U said the driving experience is great and maintenance also minimum.
Chahe is gadi mein aaj k muqable lakh kami ho but still ye apne vaqt ki ek perfect car thi and ise aaj bhi chlane ka ek alag hi swag hai,😎

Glass ke beading se Pani bhi ata tha, 60 + speed pe hil jati thi gaadi, power socket ke bagal ash tray hoti thi, 800 with alto engine (5 gear) was a rocket which was amongst very few car which could go well above speedometer speed marking + effective ac

I am using a Maruthi 800 AC BS III which I purchased during Feb 2012. I am using it and it is very comfortable.My car give good mileage. I always prefer to travel in this car.

You might have some play in steering, adjust it from below the steering rack, check ball joints if they are damaged, then feedback issue will be solved.
I've learned to drive in maruti 800, it was a 1997 model carburetor type running on LPG, when 5 peoples in car acceleration is much slower in 3rd and 4th gear, it's hard to get 4th gear, may be it's because of LPG and age of car but car really has a raw feel to it which i like most in this car.....!
Wow nice description bro. I have 2002 STD.model vehicle, daddy's car still it is in my protocol. Still it is in condition. we use so many other latest cars . but we love maruthi 800. It is a member in my family.

there is no mirror problem sir.... i have driven my car at.. 90km/hr speed over highways..... i think this car have a damaged mirror.... and this car doesn't have power steering... but than also u will feel like feather while turning it's wheels.... if car is in proper maintained condition.....

I used it in India for 6 year and it never have broken down or had any problem and still run like butter .
I am living in Nashik, Maharashtra and I am proud owner of my Maruti Suzuki 800 BS-III model of 2007, I have purchased brand new non AC car that time, because due to the pleasant atmosphere of our Nashik city I thought that a non AC car would do definitely better for me and also budget issue was there. I liked this video very much,in this video you have brought up all the pros and cons of this beautiful vehicle of middle class family of India.
I don't have any intention of selling my Maruti Suzuki 800 car, in fact I am thinking of modifying my car with new colour work, fitting of alloy steel, tubeless tyres etc.
I don't understand as to why the Maruti Suzuki company has stopped the production of this car because this car could have been modified easily to meet the present day BS-6 standards which was not much difficult, and still the modified version of this car would have been easily accepted by the middle-class families of India.
