As a kid back in 2000s, I think those original Disney Channel movies are truly the piece of art that deserves to be displayed at the museum compared to the modern ones we see now. After all, time really does fly.

I personally think Tru Confessions should have been high on the main list because having spent much of my early education in Special Ed classes I could identify with Eddie and felt deeply for him throughout the whole movie and I think that there are so many people who discount Shia Lebouf’s acting ability because he’s been typecast at this point in his career and not as many people may know about this role and Holes where his character is less bombastic but still extremely well played since it is coming from a more emotional and real place. However I do greatly appreciate this movie being in the honorable mentions so thank you.
My fave Disney Channel Original Movies of the 2000s are; 'The Color of Friendship', 'Stepsister from Planet Weird', 'Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire' and 'The Luck of the Irish'.

Can I just say Tru Confession is so underrated. Shia LaBeouf did a an amazing job in the film.
