Cheers Finn. Looking forward to going back soon now we know how the block works. Would recommend doing one with the Sika Foundation if you get a chance. 👍
Maybe? But then we almost shot one on the last night 5 minutes from camp in an area we had passed through twice each day. Sika are definitely a sneaky challenging quarry that's for sure. 👍
@@HamishSutherland True but I bet that was a young and dumb one and quite unusual behavior for Sika. White Tail on Stewart Island will live around the huts and camps of hunters and tolerate their presence but with Sika once you scent up their area they are gone.....
@@serverlan763 i disagree with what you say about sika. they definitely tolerate human activity, similar to what you said about stewart island whitetail. that is very common behaviour from sika; curious and sneaky and will not vacate the area once spooked. my 2 cents.
Sweet vid mate. a good trip away 👍

Cheers bro, those were the tame yarns 🙂.
Awesome trip guys! Cheers for posting looking forward to the next one
Cheers Phillip. Hopefully we can put some meat in the freezer on the next one! 👍
Too many of you in your party for one area I recon. Once you have walked an area it's all scented up and not worth covering again.
