I'm the EMS coordinator for a certain area of a county in NC. When we bought an Ambulance in Nov 2018 to replace one of our older rigs, it cost us $225,000. It took less than 300 days to make and deliver it to us. Fast forward years later and we had to do the same with another old ambulance that needed to be replaced in Aug 2021 and I used the same specs by the same manufacturer and got the exact same ambulance, however it cost $419,000. That is an increase of $194,000 in less than a 3-year period. Plus adding insult to injury, it took 806 days to make and deliver it to us. The ambulance we wanted to replace broke down so badly it was unfixable. We had to ask surrounding EMS agencies if we could borrow any spare ambulance they had until we received delivery. The difference between "Make a America Great Again" in 2018 versus "Build Back Better" in 2021 is astonishing and depressing to say the least. Leftist Mainstream Media would like to say there is no inflation, it is over exaggerated and in our head and there is nothing wrong with the economy and that Biden's administration has made everything better under his watch. I have been in EMS for over 30 years, and I have purchased Ambulances before and never in my life seen this type of an increase in such a short span of time.

My husband’s best friend just died at 50 from stress related heart problems. He lost his job during Covid, then got hired but found out he needed heart surgery. He healed and kept positive but was let go year later. Because of his heart issues and this crappy economy he has had a hard time finding employment when he never had an issue finding work. He was on the verge of losing his home and trying to get legal help but the cost of living made it nearly impossible these past three years. Almost impossible for anyone to survive anymore. Whoever votes for this Biden economy again needs to have their voting rights taken away.
