Juan 1:39, iniimbitahan ni Hesus ang dalawang disipulo ni Juan Bautista na “Halikayo at tingnan.”
    "An Opportunity to Know Him"
In John 1:39, Jesus invites two of John the Baptist's disciples, saying, "Come and see." Instead of giving a long explanation, Jesus asks them to take time to be with Him and experience His presence. This simple invitation opened the door to a deeper relationship and a more personal understanding of who Jesus truly is.
A great example of this is the story of the Samaritan woman in John 4:7-10. When she spoke to Jesus at the well, He didn’t immediately answer her questions. Instead, He invited her to accept the "living water" that would give her true satisfaction. When the woman accepted Jesus' invitation, her life was transformed, and she began sharing about Him with others.
Jesus’ invitation is an opportunity for us to know Him personally. He doesn’t ask us to be perfect or to fully understand everything right away. Rather, His call is an invitation to draw near, spend time with Him, and experience His love and grace. Each time we respond to this invitation, we grow closer to Jesus, and our lives are changed.
The question is, will we accept the opportunity to know Him? Jesus' invitation is always open, and as we draw near to Him, we find true happiness and purpose in our lives.
Lord, thank You for the opportunity to know You personally. Thank You for the invitation to come closer and experience Your true love and transformation. Help us not to miss this opportunity, but to make time to be with You every day. May we be changed and draw closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🥰
