- We couldn't keep this thing stock for long! We're already piling on the upgrades for our Winnebago Ekko 23b/ Sprinter Ekko/ Sprekko. So far we've added a plethora of Baja Designs lighting options, Triple R grill lights, Rieka Super Single Wheels with 295/70/17 tires, Vanmade Gear window shade, and some extra organization on the interior.
More to come for this awesome Ekko! Stay tuned..

Sweet!
So sick dude!!!! Lottery rig!!!
Fully fitted, that sounds like a $300k rig, if it stops at that. It will be capable for sure!
Nahhhh nowhere near honestly!
Love this! Would to see the things your talking about while you are talking about it!
👍👍👍
Great video. I'm seriously considering selling my Coachman Beyond (Ford Transit) and getting a Sprekko. When we do, we will definitely being contact to price out some mods. Thank you for sharing along the way. I look forward to seeing the progress through Phase 2.
It's a killer van and you won't be disappointed!
Thanks so much. I'm in full immersion, study mode now. 😊

Nice work. I just bought the same wheels for my 3500XD 4x4. This wheel/tire combo fits without a 2" lift?
Yes with some trimming
Thanks for the information. Does the 295 spare still fit in between the frame rails, or do you need a different location for it? As I understand it, only the spare is interchangeable? The other four are either front or rear only?
Also, can you adjust the computer so the speedometer and fuel mileage calculations are correct? Any change in mileage with the super singles?
That it doesn't. I'm working on a solution for that. But as of now it does not. If you aren't towing rigd swing out would be my solution, but I tow a lot so I can use that
The front and rear wheels are specific. The spare is not.
No ability to correct on Mercedes. We use a Garmin navigation device for that
@@FreedomVanGo Looks like the 275s won't work unless you ok with loosing 600+ pounds off the payload.
@@jackodinsen604 that's why we use the 295
Have you looked into the possibility of installing a compose toilet in this rig?
we haven't, and it is not something we would care to explore honestly. I like the cassette
@@FreedomVanGo I would get one of these rigs if they would put a black tank in them but I am not a cassette guy. Oh well.
Can you go into a little more why you ditched the dually. I know they can be hard when you are following single off road ruts, but is not the highway stability worth it?
Mostly two less tires to deal with, larger diameter options without needing spacers, big brake availability as well. Highway stability IMO didn't change
less rotational weight too. Airing up and down is much easier with one wheel than 2.
are you going to modify the engine at all? Give it more power
as of RIGHT NOW, no. It seems there is tune detection software baked into the ECU that is a challenge and detects when certain parameters are outside of the factory limits, logging the instances thus voiding warranty
Thanks for the quick reply. In your opinion how is the power given that this is a big & heavy vehicle? How is the torque?@@FreedomVanGo
@@user-go3st1lz5r it drives around town better than our 19 v6 4x4. On the highway I feel it holds it own at 70-75 through the Tennessee mountains around Chattanooga. The engine is a bit louder as it likes to be higher in the rpm's but other than that I don't have any complaints in my use really
Speaking of price, you really seem to shy away any mention of price. Could you say thing like phase 1 was 25k and phase 2 will be 100k or whatever. Just a ballpark , a reference , anything???? What would that total light package cost a customer?
Because it depends on what you are getting done and if it's all at the same time. We don't mention prices because a year from now if a part goes up someone is going to try and strongman us into honoring whatever is said today ridiculously. It's happened before so we don't. This video isn't even near 25k I'd say. Our whole build collectively won't crest 50k
Over $200K and you give me no outdoor cooking and a cheesy drawer/power wasting induction burner?! REALLY?!!. FIRE the guy that sold that idea!
Induction boils water significantly faster, and I cook outside. We all use our vehicles different ways. If antiquated propane and a mediocre outdoor cooking spot built in is important the Trekko is still here! That's why they have them both
So sick he couldn't even show what they did. Also rip off for now charging way above the base price of the RV for moderate mods.
I'm so confused what you are trying to say.
This was a general overview. We will show you individual items in other videos.
And we don't sell them, so we aren't charging anything. People come to us to have parts put on their ekkos. Maybe you have us confused with an Rv dealer.
So spend over $200k for just the van and then add all of this expensive after market? Approaching $300 all in? HARD PASS
its significantly less than that. But honestly, all good! You can absolutely get one and run it as is, with almost any other RV. We just show you what is able to be done!
