This airliner looks to be sturdy and conservatively designed, based on the craft that HP built in WW1. I wouldn't fly it into a heavy thunderstorm, but in fair weather, in daylight, flown by a sober, qualified pilot, it looks safe. Lots of control surface & wing area.
When is some “Outside the Square” thinking billionaire is going to build a replica of this majestic aeroplane. Surely the plans and blueprints are still in existence. Cheers from an Aviation Tragic .
Think what an Airshow stealer that would be! But of course H&S would be all over it in a flash insisting on changes etc. Even the word "Imperial" would probably get removed in case it was deemed racist and offended some ruddy snowflake!
