For the price a flip screen would have been a nice touch, the CFast cards are pretty sturdy and I feel like it's good for future proofing I can imagine if we step up to something bigger and better it will also take CFast cards, i've had a few SD's snap on me in the past so it was good to get away from them! It's a beast of a camera and i'd say it has a lot more pros than cons!
The flip screen is definitely my main want but you're right beggars can't be choosers and the 1dx mark ii is an absolutely amazing camera! I think another cool thing they could of done is have an SD slot as well, maybe instead of the cfcard slot 😂 Overkill? Thank you so much for watching! 😁
I have the 1dx mk2 and despite the flaws I love it. Hired a couple of 5d mk4’s to shoot alongside the 1d and they felt so cheap in comparison. My back is screwed from using this beast on a gimbal, but it’s a small sacrifice 🤪 Be interested to get the soon to be announced EOS R5 as those rumoured specs seem awesome!
I currently have an EOS R and despite it's flaws I've used it more than my 1dx mark ii lately, can't wait for the R5 though I hope the specs are true without the usual canon feature cripple 😁
Nate's Escape I really hope it’s the one to replace my 1d. As much as I love it, for client photography I notice just the 20 megapixel, and would love more for professional photo editing
Same! Was actually hard trying to find some things I didn't like about it, can't see myself upgrading cause there's really nothing worth upgrading too for me 😁
Just looked into it apparently they had to use a crazy because it can write the motion jpeg faster than an sd which is the only way to record 4k on this camera thanks to the motion jpeg format 😭
The battery is massive I’ve never had a problem with it running out quickly in 120fos I couldn’t give you an exact time... never had problems with overheating again, as soon as it stops you can start again

Just wondering whether a CFast adaptor would have been an option? Then you can pop in some really nice SD cards in the back end. Hmm.

How long does the battery last at 120fps? And once it stops ( after the 7min or wherever ) how long before it can start again? Please help
