That looks wonderful as you said peaceful and beautiful I can see myself sitting there in front of the tent reading and listening to the birds and all the sounds of nature wow what a thing to do. It does make me realize that I need to bring some of my gear with me when I move to Hawaii I'm bringing my car a Chevy Blazer so it carries a lot of stuff
I grew up on Oahu, and I never knew this was here. Definitely going on my next visit back. Also, I see you always start in Waikiki, I used to live on Kalaimoku back in the day. Are you old school? Do you remember the fruit stand in front of Hamburger Mary’s? Next to the lei stand?

It is a trail that offers the best view, but it is unfortunate that the stairs are old, worn and broken, so is currently closed. Search for Stairway to Heaven and there are many drone videos.
