Man i love that guitar. Its my first real guitar. The only con i find is the veneer that seems too bright in the light. Sometimes it looks darker which i absolutely adore.
I know what you mean about the veneer but it doesn't bother me that much it makes up for it with the way it plays.I lowered the action a little when I got it and it plays awesome.
Glad you have a nice guitar, I prefer the Gibson sg , but a sg of any kind is more reliable, then other copies simply due to the fact Gibson developed it. I have always tried to stay as close to the design as the person who invented the device, in this case a firearm, but it would be the same idea, if we were discussing almost anything, cars, optical technology, even food. I also put trust in time , is is still relevant to me, or you? In the end it's your choice, be smart, investigate before you buy. Hey man, not everyone is a camera expert but as long as they don't use their real name, it's like critics from the phone book, ignore bitter, angry people, they have had something go wrong in their life, and it feels better and safer to throw rocks from a unknown destination or person. Put the camera so it's looking directly at you. HELL, practice, you will get it. Better then I could do, we're guitarists, not camera men, good first try, don't let negative comments from negative people bother you. It makes certain people feel better to be critics, they can't do it!
Haven't heard critics of your playing, that is because you sound great! The only negative comment had to do with your camera, and I haven't seen the person who criticized you, put anything at all, so it's easy to be a critic, especially when you are anonymous. KEEP GOING IF YOU ENJOY IT, EVEN IF IT IS NOT A EXPENSIVE OR FAMOUS GUITAR USED BY CELEBRITIES. Only you can decide , use what you like best.
