Wow Ollie! That scrapbook! You should sell copies of it. It looks amazing. I love the fact you are so honest and straight to the point. So many people say “I don’t write notes at all...” and first of all its a lie 90% of the time and it does not work for everyone. It’s much better to understand the content in your own way even if it involves more time to write notes. This was another fab video of yours.
Like how you put the question banks in there early. That is pretty much what everyone is doing at medical school, can't really avoid it. What you stated about the pattern recognition is spot on, just grind and grind.
That is why I followed you Olly, the other med student are posting way too much click bait and at the end of the day there is more to life than just medicine. Keep it up Thanks for exposing their blatant superficial click bait channels !
Ollie congratulations on your achievement 👏👏👍👍😃😃 with outstanding results 😀😀👍👍 I wish you all the best in your future career as a medical doctor 👏👏😃😃👍👍 All best wishes, Roman
I am not a medical student. I pharmacology teach in a medical school. My daughter is in training and I am definitely going to recommend. I love your video
this doesn’t just a question for final exams but all med exams, how do you know you’ve revised all the content ? E.g. is there a specification or something similar ?
It will depend on your medical school - for example at Warwick we did have a series of learning objectives that was quite comprehensive. At the fringes however they can kind of throw anything at you, which is why question banks are so worthwhile - you'd just never ever come across the obscure stuff on your placements.
I genuinely can't remember if Ali himself did this or not, it's just a practice that I've seen around and people just need to be reminded that it's a marketing exercise

lol ali abdaal 🙂
Please share your game plan and study schedule to tackle mrcs A. Will be very very beneficial to many
This is really helpful thank you, plus your vocabulary is top notch. Any specific tips on how to speak so eloquently?
Hi, would you be able to do a video showing us how you made the summaries please
We need more vidos like this
I like it !!! Thank you
Your BP and HR readings in the background make me a bit worried 😂
This is different to the generic study tips advice, very insightful 👌
Hey, what’s that patient monitor thing you have in the background? Do you know where to get one? I have a suspicion that you made it with a RPi
Thank you
Hey Ollie, did you find that passmed finals was representative of your final (written) exams?
Hey Karim, for the writtens Passmed was pretty accurate, at least for Warwick finals! Good standard I think

Where can I purchase the flash cards ?
Do you get examined on everything you learned at med school in finals? or just everything taught in final year?
In theory absolutely anything from medical school is on the table. In practice it tends to be more clinically focused, so later years of the course
@@OllieBurtonMed thanks
You low-key drew out Ali abdaal

Lol, if a man has just got back from a 'business trip' in South East Asia I'd be thinking HIV.
Nice video, just leave the margin space free. 😂
