As a kid, I used to think that the reason behind Wart's not liking vegetables was because of a severe food allergy he had to all vegetables. When you fought him and beat him, I used to imagine that he died of a severe allergic reaction to all the vegetables you threw in his mouth.
In Randy Solem's film, The Thwart of Wart, vegetables make him fart.

My guess for Wart in a Mario Kart game: He will be part of a DLC pack along with fellow Mario villains Tatanga and Fawful as well as Donkey Kong's arch-nemesis King K. Rool. And his redesign will be based on his appearance (as Mamu) in the Link's Awakening remake.

Wart should return as a villain in the series. He would make a great antithesis to Bowser. Bowser being a fire-breathing turtle and Wart being a bubble-blowing Frog.

Since they finally have a 3D design for Wart now because of Link’s Awakening I hope this means that they could bring him back into the Mario series, in spinoffs or something.
He was a scary villain to me when i was little. So was that hawk head that came alive right before doing battle with him. Bowser didnt have the same appeal. Maybe it was the combo of more sinister sounding music too (for the 80s, at least)

He's Actually Been Like the Only Common Character From Mario Games To Only Appear In Dreams. Unlike Birdo and Shy Guy Who Later Became Real. But, I Would Actually Like It If Wart Was actually a Real Character even Though, He's From a Japanese Game. He and Bowser could do a lot of things together.

God people have more hopes for SMB2 than Odyssey in terms of SMM2 DLC. Yes the latter is very recent, but Odyssey has way more potential when it comes to level design. Need I explain?

I think SMO is good, but i think SMB2 has a unique game design that could make for some interesting mechanics and level design. SMO might be a bit...how do i say it? Complicated?
I don't think he was actually created for Mario games. SMB2 USA is just a reskin of Doki Doki Panic, the real SMB2 is similar to the first game, but much much harder and a few new mechanics.

The remake of Link's Awakening definitely stands out as the true return of Wart, due to him being newly animated in 3D. Welcome back , Great Wart. :)

Khan Afridi definitely! If they could incorporate the famous trident throw + recovery being teleport (while having the trident come back to him like a boomerang) would be perfect! It’s about time ganon stepped out of the shadows of captain falcon... yeah he was given a sword but you can still see the parallels to the captain. pig ganon would be his own beast... pun intended.

Remember that without Doki Doki Panic, not only SMB 2 would not exist, but also Shy Guys, Pokeys, Bob-Ombs, Birdo and Wart neither.
I wish they can continue adding Subcon enemies to new games just like the Shy Guy
Really the only one that is a mainstay in Mario platformers is Bob-Omb, Shy Guy is in most spinoffs and Ninji mostly appears in Mario Rpgs and Birdo reappears more as an NPC and is not a boss fight in many later games

Doki Doki Panic was originally planned to be a Mario game, before a deal was signed with Fugi Television, making it its own game. It was then rereleased as Mario 2.
The Legend of Zelda was created by Shigeru Miyamoto, the same man who created Mario.
That’s why Wart is in three different worlds.
Wart should make a return from the 80s to appear more Mario games, with Toad and Princess Peach as part of their gang.

My guess is that Wart only eats bugs and small animals (like a real frog or toad would).

You put color hack for Link's Awakening but not the Gameboy original version.
It wasn't a hack, it was the DX version. There may have also been very minor/ no changes at all, aside from the colour, but other than that they were the same game near enough.
