@@kimomoto i am most definately taking that advice because every review of the Vitpilen always talks about the seating position and clip ons And discomfort on prolonged trips. The power does not concern me because my wants for a motorcycle are just leisurely drives and occasional fun on twisties once comfortable. That is why the Vitpilen interests me.. the lightweight nature of it. But like you said... test drive first.
Hi! Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately I could only find the name of it which is Alpinestars GP Plus R v2. It’s an older model. Hope that helps!
Hello, me also finally bought a new Svartpilen 401. Overall, I am very excited about it, but I still have noticed one little problem: the “balance” of the motorcycle. - When I ride straight on the road and lift my hands from the handlebars, the motorcycle starts to pull slightly to the right ... Considering that the motorcycle is brand new, from the store, I find it a little unusual that the center of gravity is out of balance. Have any of you had a similar problem? Please for any advice or experience .. Thank you very much, Jure
Hi there Juri! I didn’t experienced that so I can’t tell you for sure why. But start by checking your tire pressure. If this is not the case then maybe you need to wheel balancing. Talk to your dealer about this issue. I hope you find a solution. Cheers
@@kimomoto Tire pressure already checked ... it is ok .. 🤷♂️ next week I have first service (the first 1000 km) .. and they will see what this could be .. Thanks anyway 😊👍
Thanks for the in-depth review, I was considering buying one as a beginner bike, but I might get something in the 650 class
That’s probably a good idea. You might grow out of the 401 quickly.
Im really considering the 2022 Vitpilen for my first bike within the next month or so. So i am glad i came across this video 👍. Keep em coming
I’m very happy to hear that! Just make sure you take it on a proper test ride before buying it.

You made me laugh about the tank, I was riding the other day and when I slid forward in my seat I skewered myself in the nuts (OUCH!)
Yup that’s exactly my experience 😅
@@kimomoto hahahahaha, Ill need to add to my collection of protective equipment
@@getawayz1 haha yeah it’s like going into the boxing ring 😉

Maybe cause the roads are slightly tilted to the right, so the rain water drains easily? Just thinking...
