I think the best way to sun fade is to leave your clothes on your roof. I lay them out and put rocks on the inside to keep it from moving and just rotate the items.

@@mirrenbooth88 I think It depends on your location, the season and how much of a fade you want. I live in Southern California, so it’s sunny almost all year where I’m at. I’m going to be fading a sweater soon and I plan on rotating it every two weeks.

@@gianfry I don’t think a little rain water will ruin the fabric, but if there is rain on the forecast then I just take it off and put it back up there after when the forecast is clear. I wouldn’t recommend leaving on the roof when it rains because if it takes a while to dry then the humidity can create mold.
