When you start your engine and start driving with AC on, do you hear some sound as if a compressor sound is heard? This sound is intermittent and with constant driving it reduces?
In my Kushaq ambition AT a hissing sound comes from AC vents at the time of engine start.Service centre people said..it’s normal.But y is it coming? They can’t explain.
I know white is easy to maintain sir... But, both Skoda and VW Virtus have such beautiful colours that you could have gone with any colour other than white. I myself am a 5th gen City owner and it had very few good colours to choose from and I went with lunar metallic silver. I believe there is need for atleast 1.2 ltr tubo engine ,Due to 1 ltr engine logics of compressor off were introduced during gear change. So that customer do not feel lag when instant power is required. Although such logics can work in Europe when temperatures are lower, but in india where temperature reaching 45-48'C, such logics are a failure
This car feels dead when 4 adult are sitting inside with luggage on highway at 40°+ temp which requires full AC. Either you have to keep it on high rpm to maintain the required speed and keep engine alive but that will drop the mileage to single digit.
Am too facing ac issue in my slavia at 1.0 ! Ac compressor is switching itself off very frequently in city traffic ! The compressor is capable to cool the entire car but the programing is not allowing it to do it !
I also own Polo tdi 1.5 but I still have a very rational rather than emotional outlook about the brand. AC problem is more prominent in bumper to bumper traffic as shown by the other owners not on free flow highway where we maintain speed more than 60 kmh.

Complains were from owners who drives in City bumper to bumper or peak hour traffic conditions. Most of time their AC cuts off when Car is stationery in the traffic.
@@harshitrathee2651 it's experienced only in 1.0 TSI Engines & more over in bumper to bumper City traffic when you need the AC the most. And its on both Kushaq & Taigun as far as I am aware.
@@nikhil9555 not at all... I'm VW vento owner so they invited me on the launch of taigun and I've been driven that....i didn't feel any cost cutting in metal or plastic quality except the cheap chrome work
You’re right….. We have Vento TDi ….. I drove Kushaq….. Driving dynamics are good but the quality of materials they are using are not comparable with the Old Gen Polos’ or Ventos’…… VW or Skoda will be next FORD … If they don’t improve their quality……

I bought a 1.0 active slavia 10 days back. Having issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Took it to service center, they did some hit and trial method, they apparently sought solutions from skoda and got it. But when I reached home, the problem started again. The Bluetooth enable button itself doesn't work now.
I have Slavia 1.5 TSI....using from Apr2022...i must say that, In last one year, cabin was never cooled...i complained but no solution yet...i always used AC in LOW..... Just to test, I have driven the vehicle 6 to 7 hours...but never felt chillness in the cabin When my service advisor was testing, he was literally sweating but no solution yet Gas was checked, AC cutoff mechanism was checked by service centre but nothing was concluded

I own Skoda Kushaq 1.0 Ambition since January 2022 and AC issue has become problem in Summers.When car is crawling in city traffic AC starts blowing warm air.After it pics up speed cooling starts again.Kushaq has given multiple problems like door noise followed by motor problem of one touch driver side window (still unresolved) and now AC problem.Plz confirm if anyone else also has faced similar AC issues and is there any resolution provided by Skoda.
Hi - i own a slavia and I got the warm air 4 to 5 times for a duration of 5 sec each time..I tested idling the car for 20 min with out engaging any gear..Think it's not abou the 1st or 2nd gear... compressor for sure blowing hot air in between and again cooling normally
Sir khali road par nahi karna tha test. Jab gaadi dhoop mein ho aap nikalo aur market mein bumper to bumper traffic mein jao. 1&2nd gear mein ac band rehta hai aur 3rd gear mein jaane ke baad on hota hai. Aaj maine gaadi half he Sirsa local market mein chalayi hai aur gaadi 1st & 2nd gear mein thi, AC on hi nahi hua. Bas humidity aur garam hawa aati hai. Issue real hai gaadi hai AC ka. 3rd gear ke baad koi issue nahi hai. Aur jab turbo spool up ho jaega tab bhi koi issue nahi hai. Issue hai before turbo and in 1st and 2nd gear in bumper to bumper traffic.

I just visited VW & Skoda showrooms in Mahadevapura, Bangalore and went for a test drive n i really didn't feel any issues with AC(Bangalore temparature that time was 29°) and i feel when in hot sun under 42°+ temparature No car makes the cabil cool under such temparature( many social media comments say Kia Seltos AC works really well but I really doubt) i actually went in my Rapid(Monte Carlo edition) to showroom and parked my Rapid next to Virtus and Rapid looks really small also felt Virtus doors heavier than my Rapid n overall Virtus feels solid enough overall.. I felt roofline quality really bad n buttons are really bad in quality too(can hear creek sounds while pressing the buttons) which needs to be fixed.

I have a doubt. I am owning a Slavia Ambition AT from last 10 days and see the epc alert when the ignition is on but it goes away when I start the engine. So is it something to be concerned or it is normal? I am not facing any starting issue or any AC issue. I really love the car.

We own a VW Taigun 1.0 highline. The AC is a chiller even when outdoor temperature is around 38 deg cel. I seldom turn the blower speed to two. There might be some units of AC issues. Overall, I love maneuvering my VW in traffic with ease and excitement.
2.0 strategy is facing issues since the launch. Now taigun ac is not working in go and stop traffic. Something not expected from vw group. Pricing is increased every month, quality is compromised time to rethink about their strategy or failure is for sure.
I have not faced any AC problem in my Polo TDi 1.2 till date in B2B from Delhi to Gurugram in peak hours. I don’t understand from where this AC problem comes in VAG cars.
i think changing to 3rd gear at 4500rpm- 5000rpm. will definitely give good power and remove the initial lag. I think lag is around 2nd gear after 65Kmp. Now VW has given tall gearing due to which 2nd gear pulls almost till 100Km in 2nd gear , due to this i feel RPM pulls till redline at 6500rpm but speed increases slowly after 65Km. But try once changing to 3rd gear at 60 or 65kmph and see if it removes the initial lag.
Slavia 1.0 TSI has a auto start stop 🛑 feature which switches the engine off when this feature is activated. In the above video the car is driven in continuously for 15 km not in traffic which cannot activate the start stop feature. In city traffic the engine will be off automatically cutting the power to compressor as per my understanding. Try to deactivate the engine auto on off and test the AC performance in city. P.S I have a Škoda Slavia 1.0 TSI I am gonna try the same and not commenting out of thin air.
If Auto Start-Stop is there isn't it obvious that Compressor won't work without the Engine on? If that is the case, one can switch off auto start-stop as OFF. The problem is not as simple as that. Manual cars are facing tripping issues in B2B and a recall is expected soon.
@@manasnanglot5 buy it if you have a covered car park with time to maintain the paint... otherwise just buy white. it is easy to maintain, attracts less heat and will give you better resale value

I am very confused between slavia and virtus. Which is better as both are good. ? Can you please suggest which one is better in terms of average, quality, look and performance.
I have a question to ask... while idling, how much petrol does a car consume for a given time period? Does the consumption depend on AC temperature set or the fan speed? I personally think fan speed does not matter for petrol consumption, but I have no means to test it out.

In bumper to bumper traffic. Ac is ineffective. If rpm is 3000+ then there is no issue. I will send my car to skoda let's see what they say. Sir you have not done justice. This video is a sham, in good reving condition it's ac is not even as effective as amaze.

Recently I took a test drive of Slavia at around 42-43 ambient temperature and performance of AC in front seats was good but at rare seats the feed back i recieved was not as good

Sir you can install sun protection films from 3M or Garware on all your windows and windshield. It is completely see through and is very hard to be noticed.

@@manasnanglot5 I personally did not feel AC lag in my Slavia today I drove in hot temp of 45 degress and i have kept Ac at 23 it will cool the entire cabin in 5 min if car is parked under hot sunlight. Other wise cooling happens instant. I personally satisfied with ride handling and performance. Korean cars are no match to german ones

Absolutely! I have spend 15 lacs after doing thorough research. My wife just loves it like anything and that makes me feel very happy. MS & Hyundai customers suffer from inferior syndrome because mostly they are outdone by VAG cars in the performance (unlike Tata & Mahindra which r better in safety) so this flock leave no stone unturned to exaggerate minor issues to a major one.
Vw group is at par in making their originals But the way they are trying to target the mass should be stopped Their should focus to their model of octavia and above

1.0 L 3 cyl engine is pure bs, although it generates enough torque and power, it should atleast be 1.2L, else the car struggles in every task even after having great numbers. 1.0L engine in cars above 10L is a total joke, lol. Just vw and skoda providing such things for indian market.😂🫡

Compressor will go bad if it keeps on tripping like this in long run .
Car ac has an issue. Dont go for reviews and wht is the point of buying automatic climate control car when you have to adjust manually

I have Slavia 1.5 TSI....using from Apr2022...i must say that, In last one year, cabin was never cooled...i complained but no solution yet...i always used AC in LOW.....
Just to test, I have driven the vehicle 6 to 7 hours...but never felt chillness in the cabin
When my service advisor was testing, he was literally sweating but no solution yet
Gas was checked, AC cutoff mechanism was checked by service centre but nothing was concluded

I own Skoda Kushaq 1.0 Ambition since January 2022 and AC issue has become problem in Summers.When car is crawling in city traffic AC starts blowing warm air.After it pics up speed cooling starts again.Kushaq has given multiple problems like door noise followed by motor problem of one touch driver side window (still unresolved) and now AC problem.Plz confirm if anyone else also has faced similar AC issues and is there any resolution provided by Skoda.

Hi - i own a slavia and I got the warm air 4 to 5 times for a duration of 5 sec each time..I tested idling the car for 20 min with out engaging any gear..Think it's not abou the 1st or 2nd gear... compressor for sure blowing hot air in between and again cooling normally

Jab gaadi dhoop mein ho aap nikalo aur market mein bumper to bumper traffic mein jao. 1&2nd gear mein ac band rehta hai aur 3rd gear mein jaane ke baad on hota hai. Aaj maine gaadi half he Sirsa local market mein chalayi hai aur gaadi 1st & 2nd gear mein thi, AC on hi nahi hua. Bas humidity aur garam hawa aati hai. Issue real hai gaadi hai AC ka. 3rd gear ke baad koi issue nahi hai. Aur jab turbo spool up ho jaega tab bhi koi issue nahi hai. Issue hai before turbo and in 1st and 2nd gear in bumper to bumper traffic.

I just visited VW & Skoda showrooms in Mahadevapura, Bangalore and went for a test drive n i really didn't feel any issues with AC(Bangalore temparature that time was 29°) and i feel when in hot sun under 42°+ temparature
No car makes the cabil cool under such temparature( many social media comments say Kia Seltos AC works really well but I really doubt)
i actually went in my Rapid(Monte Carlo edition) to showroom and parked my Rapid next to Virtus and Rapid looks really small also felt Virtus doors heavier than my Rapid n overall Virtus feels solid enough overall..
I felt roofline quality really bad n buttons are really bad in quality too(can hear creek sounds while pressing the buttons) which needs to be fixed.

That is perfectly normal. It is there like that from Polo, T-Roc to Virtus. It’s imp that no error sign should be there once vehicle is in motion.

We own a VW Taigun 1.0 highline. The AC is a chiller even when outdoor temperature is around 38 deg cel.
I seldom turn the blower speed to two.
There might be some units of AC issues.

2.0 strategy is facing issues since the launch. Now taigun ac is not working in go and stop traffic.
Something not expected from vw group. Pricing is increased every month, quality is compromised time to rethink about their strategy or failure is for sure.
I have not faced any AC problem in my Polo TDi 1.2 till date in B2B from Delhi to Gurugram in peak hours. I don’t understand from where this AC problem comes in VAG cars.

i think changing to 3rd gear at 4500rpm- 5000rpm. will definitely give good power and remove the initial lag. I think lag is around 2nd gear after 65Kmp. Now VW has given tall gearing due to which 2nd gear pulls almost till 100Km in 2nd gear , due to this i feel RPM pulls till redline at 6500rpm but speed increases slowly after 65Km. But try once changing to 3rd gear at 60 or 65kmph and see if it removes the initial lag.
Slavia 1.0 TSI has a auto start stop 🛑 feature which switches the engine off when this feature is activated. In the above video the car is driven in continuously for 15 km not in traffic which cannot activate the start stop feature. In city traffic the engine will be off automatically cutting the power to compressor as per my understanding. Try to deactivate the engine auto on off and test the AC performance in city.
P.S I have a Škoda Slavia 1.0 TSI I am gonna try the same and not commenting out of thin air.
If Auto Start-Stop is there isn't it obvious that Compressor won't work without the Engine on? If that is the case, one can switch off auto start-stop as OFF. The problem is not as simple as that. Manual cars are facing tripping issues in B2B and a recall is expected soon.

I have a question to ask... while idling, how much petrol does a car consume for a given time period? Does the consumption depend on AC temperature set or the fan speed? I personally think fan speed does not matter for petrol consumption, but I have no means to test it out.
Most probably fan speed won't matter, only temperature would matter.
It does consume more with AC than we think. I have not evaluated though but surely it brings the overall mileage down.

As a fellow ambition owner, I just installed Cr70 from 3m and the difference is evident. Front windshield has no uv cut hence AC is ineffective.

1.0 L 3 cyl engine is pure bs, although it generates enough torque and power, it should atleast be 1.2L, else the car struggles in every task even after having great numbers. 1.0L engine in cars above 10L is a total joke, lol. Just vw and skoda providing such things for indian market.😂🫡
