I'm really loving this series! Thank you for showing us the pink next to other pinks. This really helps me when it comes to deciding whether or not to buy a color.
The other video Lou mentions about the 5 ink pads to buy when starting out is amazing especially if you're on a tight budget like I am......well worth a view if you haven't already watched it :-) x
These videos inspired me to play with my oxides. I now make lists of combinations i like -- starting with your recommendations. Thank you so much for getting me to think outside of the box!
Love these videos!!! Thank you for sharing this information live!!! It is overwhelming to choose color combos for me so this has been thrilling to watch!!! ❤❤❤
I’m loving this series even though I have all the colors but with your videos as inspiration I decided to create color blend combos swatches, it’s been fun. Though I found you thanks to this series, I love your mix of card making and mixed media. I do have a question, how do you store ALL your brushes? I think I’ll be doing as you have, one brush per color.
As always, I am enjoy seeing your creative combinations. I’m sorry to say that I find your colored mat distracting-it makes it more difficult to focus on the colors you are working with. Perhaps you could designate a special space in your workroom to always return you mats to. After awhile it would become second nature to put them there and you could always find them. Just a thought.
I had wondered about putting the alcohol color around the edges and leaving the center clear for less distortion. I love seeing the combinations you make. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the time you spend teaching.

Still think this is super helpful x
I like the uncharted mariner. I'm trying to find an oxide that is close to a navy blue. Is there one?
Chipped Sapphire is the darkest of the blues
@@LouCollins, I thought so, but that looks more purple to me. I'll go back and look at that video. Thank you! 😊
