BRING DORINDA BACK!!! I miss her so much! She was the heart of RHONY. She got those women to open up like no other. When she told Bethany in Miami “It was bad that he (Dennis) died”, that scene was so powerful. The show feels so heartless without her.

The iconic housewives have their own “seasons” where there was an obvious turning point for that particular franchise: Dorinda, Bethenny, LuAnn, Ramona and Sonja are definitely the ones you immediately conjure up in your mind when anyone mentions RHONY. She was a great addition to the cast, already had a natural chemistry with all the ladies and pulled no punches. It’s like what Kenya Moore is to RHOA; some may not like her, but outside of Nene, she is the most memorable RHOA housewife and one of the first ones you think of when RHOA is discussed. The show is not the same without her.

The way she kept bashing her time and time again and calling her "weak" just because she wasn't a confrontational person like her, as if it was a boxing match... relax woman. Also, don't @ me, but Dorinda was jealous that Scott was giving Tinsley all the things Richard once gave her, let's be quite honest here lol.
She's definitely coming back. I think they realise she's a great of NYC like Luann, Ramona, Sonja and Bethenny, and they will ALWAYS try to keep those women no matter how they gotta do it. But Dorinda needed a break because she was AWFUL in her last season. Like, worse than any of those other women have ever been, and I think it would've reached a point where it would've made her irredeemable. So giving her the year off so she (and we) can come back with a fresh perspective was a good choice I think.

I loved Dorinda until repetitive negative patterns of behavior became more & more apparent. Her refusal to accept responsibility for her actions was hard to watch. I’ve never seen a grown woman lash out & say such cruel & disgusting things then conveniently suffer from (alcohol-related) amnesia. She clearly had/has an issue with alcohol. I’m not suggesting she’s an alcoholic, just that she has an unhealthy relationship with alcohol & alcohol related issues i.e., consistently passive aggressive behavior any time she was confronted & her defensiveness & refusal to even acknowledge there might be a deeper underlying issue. She doesn’t accept criticism either positive, or negative well. I found her entertaining, but I don’t miss her unpredictable drunken outbursts & lack of accountability.

She never says Richard's cause of death. It was liver disease. 9 times out of 10 that's alcohol abuse related. She needs to address her drinking, her unresolved grief & her anger issues.
I am so confused. I've never heard Andy tell a housewife "we put you on pause" - heavily implying they want her back asap. Dorinda was great for the show until she wasn't. She's radiant and charismatic - and here we saw her at her best, but at her worst, Dorinda is incredibly toxic and reality TV has been shifting away from people who are this mean-spirited. Anyone else scratching their heads at this?
Totally scratching my head about this!!! There was some actual cruelty happening here that the other housewives and Andy witnessed and accepted as part of Dorinda's character and Tinsley was the sacrificial lamb. It's one thing to express yourself honestly, authentically and transparently and a whole other to decimate someone else because of her own personal issues. That was not good TV, it was a non-stop shit show and Dorinda was shoveling hard. If "pause" means learned her lesson, let her actually say the words to those she hurt so badly. In the real world, we apologize and try to make amends when we acknowledge our mistakes and shortcomings.

I'm guessing not. The only time she's ever admitted it was to Bethenny after she insulted colleagues of B's on a disaster relief trip. She was slurry, aggressive drunk at a 7pm dinner, insulted them, then left the dinner shouting incoherently. Bethenny called her a drunk to her face the next day & she admitted to empty nest syndrome ( which I think is only half the reason she drinks)

Such short memories. I actually felt so bad for her and her problem with alcohol that made her a very, very mean drunk. She must have seen a lot of this in her childhood. Dorinda and Ramona held each other accountable, they're not talking because it hurts deep when real friendships are bruised. I hope her *pause* really allowed her to dive in and look at that. She is a great gal, really. But not when she is drinking. Horrible toxic woman full of trauma. It was hard to watch. I felt sick and often said, “why am I watching this?”

Dorinda and Ramona held each other accountable, they're not talking because it hurts deep when real friendships are bruised. Leah can go not sure on Eboni I feel there are stories in her that are yet to unfold but she needs removing from Leah who is fuelling the woke flames with her self enlightenment. Trouble with people on journeys of enlightenment is they get preachy because they want everyone else to be there with them right at that moment despite it taking Leah decades to get almost there herself!!!
