Why was this game not on TV!?? Imagine the money it could’ve brought in for Harborough and Reading with their financial situation at the moment. Games completely gone.
As a non-league fan, a small part of me wanted to see Harborough do it, but knowing them I can't think of a single team who'd deserve that less than Harborough Town Football Club. Absolutely detestable team 😂
@TomTom-ul1sw They are no-leagues Man City. Bought all the success they've had since Covid. Gone from step 5 irrelevancey to step 3, playing Reading away in the FA Cup 2nd round, none of which has been earned properly. Fielded multiple illegible players last season resulting in points deductions and still got promoted regardless. Bought up all of their rivals best players to boost their title race last season by offering outrageous contracts which you simply can't turn down. They're just scummy and have paid for every trophy and accolade they've ever 'earned'
Great to have Dave Farrar (Reading fan himself) on comms, sorry Harborough. Lucky escape for us on the day, shame we have such a meh draw at home against Burnley next instead of a big money top 6 PL club away with all our well documented issues.
The fact that the 1st goal for Harborough was allowed to stand is shocking. The No 9 pushes Button to the floor. These highlights also did not show the red card for Kanu. While I will credit Harborough as a club and their players, and the majority of their fans, the minority who sung that Robbie Savage is a poof can do one.
Obviously we played against big reading team similar to premier league team with very fast young talented players huge stadium and fans do you really think we win a game logic com on guys but fair play we proud of supporters and players well done bees
Well not a big team . Our team is made of kids from our academy who have done amazingly well. We had a 16 year old, 17 year old, 18 year old and 21 year old in defence today. Some first teamers injured or rested too, like Sam smith, knibbs, pereira, etc, plus several on the bench like bindon
okay fairplay again but .... first goal = climbing over the player and pushing the goalkeeper second goal = blocking the player running to block and leaving it is obstruction of play lol
As Reading fan there today harborough can go home with heads held high they gave it a proper game today and I wish em luck for the future

I was at the game and the ref was shocking. He allowed Physicality from Harborough and not from us.
