**She was very kind and only worried about her dog getting too excited by the bikes. She was by no means a "Karen" but the title "Karen Patrol" was too tempting. Before I approached her, she yelled "I wasn't expecting those here" in a distressed way so I came up to let her know we come in peace. Always show respect guys!**

I grew up riding fire roads and washes in the SCV in the 80s and 90s, we could ride almost anything anywhere we wanted. I hope this new generation of silent and fast electric bikes brings this back! Kids need to be outdoors exploring and having adventures in their own back yard. Keep it up!
This will not happen. As the population grows and technology grows, governments in all countries will continue to push more laws and regulations for these. Won't be long before you have to pay money to the state to register and insure these damn things...Sucks but we need to vote for the politicians that have our interests in mind.

@@leetjohnson OK? Well they'll increase the number of game wardens to patrol the trails and other areas with trees. They will crack down harder on these vehicles. I'm just telling you that this won't be ignored forever. Electric vehicles are becoming very very popular.
If you're using these in cities then it's even easier for them to simply watch and follow and observe where you come and go. You're not going to out run them forever lol

Tip from an old Dirt bike mx racer on rough terrain, stand up on the peg's and it's less painful. Like your buddy was doing just before you spoke with the nice lady with the dog... Use your legs and knees for a less painful ride. Sitting on the seat the entire time can be a real ball buster.... Great video....

Manual gas bike tip; when you're letting out the clutch to take off in first, don't give it throttle until you feel the bike start to creep forward.
And that's another thing; you don't want to look down at what you're trying to do. You have to learn by feel, not by seeing.

The front suspension is the biggest challenge with these builds. A lot of fabrication needed to put good forks on. Quality mtb forks look like a good option and keep the weight of the bike down... which will also increase top end speed and range. Thanks for the great videos and inspiration on the builds. Love my sx 500 e and c. Building a mx650 with their new motor
Suron is so capable offroad it blows my mind. I go every Monday Tuesday. San Diego or San Clemente have amazing trails. If you wanna check some out I’m game!

I’m a huge gas fan, but if you’re a teenager or a kid is perfect to have an electric dirtbike because you don’t have parents yelling at you for noise complaints or cops

The lady had a good point. I ran over a small dogs head when he bit the front tire of my mighty 1969 Yamaha CT-175 at about 10 mph.
I rarely ride motorcycles, but even I know that you go down for first, and if you are not sure if you are in first, you just hammer that pedal a few extra times to make sure. Then you assume you are in second, and give it extra gas before letting out the clutch, and do a wheelie across the street
On the gas one when the front wheel went up he went "woh😮"
In the future I hope to get one of these and drive it around with my buddies

tip: on bumpy parts of the trails, stand up or at least squat to get your butt off the seat. its more comfortable and wont bounce you off the seat.
