@@vivianscollectibles ive always been a soccer collector in the hobby and only just recently took an interest in Pokemon. The value in soccer cards keeps changing based on player form etc, and people are always trying go all in on the new Messi for future profit but from what ive seen, People buy Pokemon cards because they look good rather than pontential profit, sorry for my ignorance if im totally wrong, im still trying to learn about it
there are certain cards to make profit but hobby largely collectors hence why hobby always healthy. You could make money on anything thou in the end just need look raw vs graded comps and how often it sells to see if liquid etc.

I’m from the US and I don’t understand why in the UK they unseal the boxes before they sell it to you
one piece store does that so you dont go reselling them for high and unsealed sells for cheap or harder to sell
