Fun to watch this. I purchased one new in 1971. Still have original box, receipt, and owners manual. I had it cleaned and relamped several years ago. I love this thing.

We have this running through some Klipsh Chorus I speakers at 402 Vinyl. It's the best sounding setup in the shop :)

I've got the 2230 with the champagne engraved plate with a gorgeous zebrawood replica case from Vintage Hifi Audio. Only paid $250 about a year ago. Relamped it myself, bought new capacitors and then took it to a tech to have them installed.
Also have a 2270 with the champagne engraved plate. This one has its original walnut case. Paid $800 within the last year but had to drive a long way to pick it up. Relamped this one and recapped too. And then a 2235 with the silver face plate, relamped and just recapped the power board on this one.
My 2230 streams through a Wiim Pro through a Geshelli Labs J2 DAC with the AKM 4499 chipset and Sparkos opamps in a wood case (zebrawood and purple heart). I'm running Coral BX-300 speakers with a Hsu VTF-2 subwoofer, which runs off the remote speaker outputs. The result is awesome, both to look at and listen to.
Right now, the 2270 is running stacked Original Large Advents. They're fun but I'm going to upgrade. I'm thinking Klipschorns when I can find them at a decent price, though those things don't need anywhere near 70 WPC.

Hey great video I enjoyed it. Just purchased one of these, few small issues, bulb replacements.
I don’t know if I don’t have a good enough antenna but I am having trouble tuning into channels..
Is that the FM issue you mentioned?
And what’s the remedy? Thanks in advance
Lastly how would you hook up a Bluetooth to this we do use the auxiliary RCA’s?
And what about a powered sub?

The FM issues on these result from a faulty component on the FM board (some type of transformer IIRC). Remedy is a minimum an alignment to help ID the problem component - and if it is the transformer, then the only option is to source one from a donor unit. I run an old Amazon Echo Dot w/3.5mm output jack via a 3.5mm to RCA connector into AUX on my rig in the garage. You can also use a phone to RCA adapter.

Carefully with dish soap and warm water. You could try something like Simple Green, but I would be cautious with any 'cleaner'.
