I love how every time someone makes one of these lists, it's always about the special event locations, as if it's a place everyone can simply 'miss' it.

As somebody who rented Pokemon red before any of my friends had even heard of pokemon, this is spot on. The ds games were great.
I found the pixel art style hard to follow I started with sinnoh and I loved it but I’m looking forward to brilliant diamond because it’s easier to see and understand.

Tim Leslein I play the Gen four games. I’ve been able to get the old events via changing the settings on our Router and the GTS still worked! We’re changing the router in the next few days after the school semester ends for me today!

To be fair, I don't think event locations should be counted. If you went to the event, you aren't missing it at all. If you didn't go to the event, you literally CAN'T go to the area. If something isn't there in your file, it shouldn't be considered as there's no possibility of going there TO miss.
Zyguard is in a hidden location as it was a last moment addition when Pokémon scraped the idea of having a Pokémon Z to go with X & Y.
I was honestly expecting the Sinjoh Ruins to be on the list ;-;

Funny enough i had a Genesect code in a Pokemon Black or White box that i never used back in the day when i bought it and the code expired
If you have a 2DS/3DS there are videos online how to change some settings and get mystery gift available on your BW/B2W
I got some VCG mons and shiny sinnoh trio and keldeo plus genesect

I had no idea the mew island existed for a long time.
I honestly felt so proud of myself for finding Zygarde back when X and Y was the newest pokemon game. Used to fight my friends with it, and they never knew what it was.
I remember finding the p2 lab and just didn’t question it I was so naive as kid 😂

That place was soo obscure and out of the way in an unlikely place that you would probably miss it... finding it for the first time and fighting/catching Rayquaza was the best feeling! Now it's an event place that you'd eventually go to through the story and is no longer a secret, but it was really cool finding it!

Fun fact. I found zygarde in Y by accident not knowing I'd find him. I of course caught him after resetting a few times
I think that all this information is very interesting and Navel Rock reminds me of Navel Island in the Orange islands in the anime.
There was one area I recently re-discovered in HG/SS. It's embedded tower, hidden away in a corner of Johto.
It's meant for catching Groudon/Kyogre, depending on which game you have. You first gotta get one of the orbs after you defeat Red (so literally as post game as you can get).
If you trade for the other legendary from the other game, and bring both caught legendaries to Oak, you can get another orb to catch Rayquaza.
It's a place very hidden away, not really accessible until really late game, long after you trecked through the rather long Route 47. Even then, you need to actually go to the tower AFTER you get an orb, which unless you're using the internet, is extremely unlikely.
Thankfully, it's not event-based, so you can still do it, but you'll need to fully complete both SS and HG to catch Rayquaza.
Events are cool and all, but in Pokémon they're something that many people miss out on.
At least I did.
As an example when I played (I can't really remember if it was Black or Black 2)
I went to that secret island where you "could" get Genesect.
And I spent like 2 hours there wandering around trying to trigger something.
And then I learn that it's an event Pokémon.
It made me kinda sad.
There are so many event only Pokémon Genesect, Volcanion, Victini, Shaymin, Keldeo and so on
Hope one day I can experience a Pokémon event.

Well sad to say but they are just lame gifts now you just get them no puzzle or battle just walk into a pokecenter and talk to an npc
You forgot Anville Town, the Town you most likely would never notice cause it’s got no use
you can still get some of these with a device called Action Replay or Power Save. tho its still cheats.

The thing with the trainer house is that it was designed to copy the team of whomever you last used Mystery Gift with, copying their party at the time of Mystery Gift (excluding held items, genders, and stats) However, if you didn't use Mystery Gift with anyone, you would face off against Cal with the final evolutions of the three starters.
Everyone forgets that place to change Rotom in B&W

I still remember just accidentally stumbling over Zygarde pretty much because I didn't expect another legendary at all and haven't been to that cave before. Quickly ran out to get more balls after seeing Zygarde just chilling there.

Zaygarde was a Pokémon i found after beating the main story i didn’t even know it was in the game and i was just passing time by going thru that cave. Was great to just walk up on it .
I was adding on to this just to say i love how black and white had so many different legendaries in different places you wouldn’t think of. I had a lot of fun with that game.
Any place containing a legendary Pokémon that can be got without an even should not be considered forgotten, I get some might not know about even places but most people are going to start looking for legendary Pokémon post game or just before the champion

I found that lab last year when i started playing black and white 2 throughly and all of the mysteries in this game
For Terrakion you actually need to catch Coballion and Virizion first to clear the barrier blocking to entrance to the Trial Chamber, not use Strength to move a Boulder. You have to get through victory road and then, from the league side of it, backtrack a little bit to find the Trial Chamber

If you have a 3ds you can still get all of the event Pokémon from black and white/black 2 and white 2
Certain event pokemon
My most annoying was 2 spots in Generation 2. You had cherrygrove and the bit of water behind pokemon center. And the even more annoying? The mt silver cave. Prior to fighting Red you had a waterfall on the left of the cave. You cannot swim over the ledge or get to it but its a waterfall. Theres no waterfall that does not let you scale it. So obviously youd think its somehow possible to get to but nope. Its just decoration essentially.

You can't access Terminus Cave until after catching Xernes or Yveltal in X/Y
If you have a walk though walls cheat on while in the p2 lab in black and white (I think this works in B2/W2) and walk though the boxs on the right I think it's been a while you may come across a white room it could have been a test room or a cut room for the p2 lab. It seems to have a table and some trash cans.(It's been a long time since I was there).
You cqn buy the distribution cartridges for DS era and GBA era pokemon games on ebay! I think they even made a 10th anniversary cart for people to buy back in the day, but im not certain 🤷♂️

This idea is inspired by the sapphire and Ruby re-make, it made the Ladios and Latias island part of the story. Before it was just a side quest.😁
How would it work with the pokemon gold and silver download on the 3ds? the trainer house I mean. Since it is a download can it still mess itself up? or would it run fine but with insane enemies?
Ive tripped out so bad i think it was a tripp but i was awake i was playing oras i whent in to a cave using latios/latias fulte thing but it was like holo and abunch of puzzlez and trainer battles

That trainer house glitch happens to me (not sure if that's the glitch). All of my pokemon (on the pc) is gone except for my party pokemon. And the pc mail is full of ????? mails. When I try to get the mail it become exp.share.
Also that trainer uses msng.no.

It’s honestly annoying that you can’t go back and do these events if you ever want to redo a file. They should have just made them forever available once they were live. Makes the games not as enjoyable once you beat it once in the year it released

ya the flower garden is easy if u have walk through walls get out of the victory road where a man is blocking a place u can go to the end of the walking area then start the wtw then go straightgo straight untill you see the area then i can go up see shaymin and catch ez
You forgot the fact that you must encounter Cobalion before you can get Terrakion, otherwise there are rock obstacles blocking the way to him. Also, I hear 5 nights a team flares HQ theme in the background. Where does that music Originate from?

I remember in my DS i was able to cheat and walk through walls in Pokemon platinum, for some odd reason i decided to walk out to the water in the specific area of where the rock of Shaymin was I walked all the way out and find the island, I was shocked because as a 11 year old boy I never stumble upon the island before after pretty much wall walking through everything and catching Cynthia Lucario like 50 times, anyway i was curious and walked all the way down where I found shaymin, yet I never heard of the Pokémon i caught it but never thought it was a legendary until a few weeks later after watching the movie on Cartoon Network.
