Now I understand why Principal Duvall said he left the south side.
I can relate to the both of you. When I was younger, I memorized the whole script and song of this movie that I once mute the TV while watching it, and I was the only one talking as the characters.
Also fun fact and something I didn’t know until couple years ago, Rachel McAdams was doing press for dr strange 1 and did a look back on your career interview and she said that her hair in this movie is wig which shocked me! I genuinely thought it was her actual hair and now that I know I can totally see it and can’t Unsee it. But honestly that is some good wig work! And it’s also crazy that she was 26! I think Tina fey said once that the cast went to karaoke and Rachel’s choices were closer to Tina and Amy’s music choices vs Lindsey and Amanda.
Damien’s talent show performance always reminded me of a really good friend named Mike. I had in the 10th grade. He hung out with all us geeks and anime nerds, and he was the only gay in the village, but for the talent show with absolute confidence performed beat for beat of Britney Spears song with choreography and at first kids started to boo him and me and my friends the shy kids just start screaming and cheering him on and he was so good like it gave me goosebumps and people actually started loving his performance and wasn’t one of the most beautiful moments of my life lol
31:16 i’m guessing regina is banking on the fact that the principal could think that smb found the BB before she did and didn’t turn it in like she did which is not a far fetched assumption
The line my parents liked best is 'she was supposed to be grounded but he let her out' bc every single time they will tell the story of how little me went to my friend's house when she was grounded and asked why i couldn't play at her house if she wasn't allowed to leave....literally just did not understand the concept of being grounded and her mum called my parents about it and they found it hilarious
I saw the Mean Girls Musical on Broadway because I thought it would be fun and nostalgic but it was genuinely amazing, there's this insane song Regina sings while she's spreading the burn book around the school and its so good... Thanos could never! 😂

22:33 I think its because when were younger, we don't really have a grasp on who bad it really is. They know it's considered bad, but they probably wouldn't see it as any more than skanky or skeevy at worse. When we become adults rewatching this looks a whole lot worse. If you think about it, Janice should be ashamed of herself for turning Cady into a "Plastic". She created that monster, not Regina.
