There's a glitch that lets you port 2D levels to 3D styles and vice versa. That's probably what they did.

What are “title screen levels”? They keep on using that term and I’m not clear what it means (I don’t play SMM2)
@@jogiff Everytime you open SMM2 you get a title screen level. It's just a level in the background you can play before choosing your mode. People are lazy and just upload those levels.
Uncleared levels receive likes in the same way I succeed at life: by being mediocre next to absolute horrible candidates.

even thought it's kinda hot garbage-y, that first level is still the best title screen level i've ever seen, with no dev exit and a bossfight that's actually possible to beat it would be a pretty good level honestly
I like the more unconventional feel of it. I am also not opposed to dev exits, especially if they are signposted like here. However if the creator is not good enough to finish his own game in one go, he should at least play every part individually to see that it is actually possible. If he just assumes that it is or doesn't care, then it is bad level design.

It was weird to see Panga actually getting angry at a level, and losing his composure.
On that hammer level, you could have saved time by rolling through the pipe.
20:00 That's at least what Ross and Alpharad did when they made a level together. They both had a switch and the ability to share screens to each other. Then they were describing ideas to each other. Alpharad was experimenting with concepts he thought would work well in the level while Ross was the one to make the entire cohesive level. When he would get stumped on a part, Alpharad would recreate the section on his end and try to figure out what worked there. Then, if he found something, Ross would look at the screenshare and port it into the level. Honestly, it worked better than I expected.

tbf the duel boss fight was a soft lock if you didn't know. So it did deserve the boo.

18:12 Not sure how this could help in making a kaizo level but here are some things I've discovered about the goomba mask: pink piranna creepers stay small with it on, but blues stay extended. Icicles don't fall, even when you're standing on them. Skipsqueaks don't jump when you do, obviously. Koopa cars stay asleep and can't hurt you. And some enemies like Meowser just don't know what to do with themselves when you have it on
The first two levels were good ideas but they had a few flaws that made them not so desirable.

In the second level, I think the idea was that if you keep the mushroom from before the checkpoint, you could get a fire flower somewhere?
That last level was pretty cool.

I get the feeling that the hammer level was Tool Assisted, which is why it had TA in the thumbnail. Which is how they did it so fast, because it was theoretically frame perfect
That last level was actually pretty good, the boss fight even had 2 phases

Panga I have an idea for a level revolving around the goomba hat: A kaiso level where you take damage and damage boost through (maybe pokeys?) level but at certain parts of the level you have to wear the goomba hat and if you take damage offscreen thwomps activate a p- switch that destroys the level.

TH-cam statistics tells you, but a lot of younger people lie about their age so it isn accurate. Even if someone lied about their age in the past and then grew old enough to have an account, the statistics would still list them as older than they are.
