Great video Chevy!! Thanks.👍
It doesnt apply to RELIABLE 4wd systems. Those work as follows:
Lock in hubs
Move transfer case control lever to 4 high or 4 low position.
Some bodys due for a new pickup or suburban/ yukon
Yeah it only applies to 4x4 vehicles with nice toasty heated seats cooled aswell for summers oh and that remote start compliments the heated seats and heater so well same for summer and cooled seats air conditioning ❤
If shifting to and out of 4LO, and must be done so in Neutral and speeds below 3 mph, does this mean do it while rolling and if so can I press the brakes while doing this? Or can I just shift to 4LO from Park? Im used to AWD and 4High never used 4LO.
Hey there. Our team suggests reaching out directly to your dealership for more specific information regarding your vehicle's performance.
Can you provide a description of the difference between 4lo and "terrain mode"? I've got a 2022 silverado and I was curious why this option is included instead of just 4lo
Terrain Mode is designed and best utilized for finer control during low speed, off-road driving. When using this mode, it will mimic the characteristics of four-wheel-drive low without the torque capabilities. Beyond this, you can also find more details and information on the different driving modes, as well as best uses for each, beginning around page 250 of your Owner's Manual. If you don't have a physical copy handy, you can access a digital version anytime online by visiting: www.chevrolet.com/support/vehicle/manuals-guides. We hope this information proves helpful. Our team remains an email away at socialmedia@gm.com. Fantastic video! Thank you very much.😊
Can I shift to from 2wd to auto in parking and shifting out from auto to 2wd in parking? Or must be always in neutral? Thanks
Great question. You should be able to switch between the driving modes while in park and while driving under the circumstances presented in the video. Your vehicle will flash regardless if the switch was successful or not. For more in-depth details, we advise speaking with your local Chevrolet dealership who can guide through these technical questions. However, always feel free to reach out to our care team at socialmedia@gm.com with "ATTN: jdlk Chevrolet TH-cam" listed in the subject line at anytime.
In 4hi, something grinds when going slow turning into my driveway. If slow enough truck won’t move. Any thoughts?
We’re sorry to hear you're experiencing some noises and would like to be of assistance, Stephen. Please email socialmedia@gm.com with the subject headline "ATTN: Stephen Schweigart Chevrolet TH-cam" to get in touch with our customer care team.
Same situation happens in my suburban, I don’t feel grinds before, but have this grinds feeling every time when I turn on 4hi right now.(only when turning, especially turning to the right)
Hey there. We regret to learn about the grinding concern with your Suburban and would like to learn more. Please send us an email with further details to socialmedia@gm.com and add the subject line ATTN: evride Chevrolet TH-cam". We look forward to assisting you.
I recently had this happen. Thought I ruined the truck. I was in 4hi and shifted in park back down to 2 after the dash said it was complete and when I turned right my wheel locked, heard grinding and I stopped immediately but it was just fine like nothing happened after that so idk what it could’ve been
When i use 4x4 lo in sand and mud and pulling my trailer, i do get stuck sometimes, because the transmission stops to shift to the next gear causing the truck to pause between gears. i try to go as slow as possible, but as soon as the tires spin a bit - it tries ti shift . this is not very helpful in sugar sand.
We appreciate you sharing this feedback with us, Fliko. If you have any other questions or feedback to provide, please reach out to us through email at socialmedia@gm.com. We'd be happy to help.
Pull shift lever all the way down and use buttons on handle to control shifts
Can you shift in 4lo from 2hi. Or do you have to go to 4high first then 4lo like the older models?
Thanks for reaching out, Clarke. If you’d like to get in contact with someone from our customer care team, please reach out to socialmedia@gm.com with the subject headline "ATTN: Clarke Miller Chevrolet TH-cam". From there, an advisor would be more than happy to assist you further.
Thamk you operating an 09 Silverado
Repost the video in Spanish for my dad
If they need to watch this. They don't need to own a 4x4
Or maybe you need to watch it to see how to be able to tell what you’re in because for some reason if you go to 4hi it doesn’t show it anywhere on the dash
What an ignorant comment, nobody is born with the knowledge in their mind. It has to be taught somehow. The video was great.
Very ignorant! This is my first 4x truck and I want to make sure I use it properly so I don’t ruin it!! Thank y’all for the video. I feel much more comfortable if I need to use it.
If you needed to learn how to use a spoon, you shouldn’t eat…
Why you here watching and commenting? Lol
