Damn, that's the most reckless playthrough I've ever seen of this game. Entering/exiting doors with enemies right outside, not finishing off enemies slightly off-screen, platform jumps/drops right below/above enemies, long jumps into the unknown... At any rate, it was *HIGHLY* entertaining and very thorough. Gets a well-earned 'Like' from me!
"In hindsight, I should have wondered how my commanding officer could afford a Beverly Hills mansion compound." Great game, not sure which came first between this and Rolling Thunder but they did the formula well. Capcom should bring this back in some form. Expand the plot a little but keep the general 'lone agent against drug lords' plot.
While I love these plot twists... why would Jones assign his BEST agent to this? Assign the buffoon who chases wrong-headed or has trouble remembering to zip his pants up. When the investigation hits a dead end "well, guess there really isn't some syndicate taking over the country. Case closed."
Code Name Viper was shadow-developed by Arc, who also ported Rolling Thunder to the Famicom/NES. I'm guessing they re-used the source code for this; which is fair game as long no references of Rolling Thunder get made.

Capcom’s answer to Rolling Thunder.
You know it's a cheap version because he can't afford pants.
@@tf2whackyengineer Yup.
I never heard of this one but enjoy Shinobi and Rolling Thunder. May as well give it a shot too

- "Good luck Mr Smith!
- thx colonel I'll do my best!
- ah and... Mr Smith...
- yes colonel?
- put on your pants please.
- ... sure colonel."
I remember this game growing up back in the day, finally beat it tho after many days.
Без штанов но в сапогах.
A game that has the Rolling-Thunder type gameplay? I have a new game to check out later then!

If this guy with no pants was running around and gunning people down, I would just leave.
Never heard of this but I’d have definitely played thru it as a kid if I came across it
The Sackler Family is involved in this.
Capcom's Rolling Thunder. 😁💚
Anyone notice that the sound made when a bad guy is killed is the same one the dragon makes in Mega Man 2 (Wily stage 1) when he breathes fire?
It looks like he is wearing no pants! Why did they choose the same color as his face for the pants? Horrible :D
how did Capcom not get sued for this?
I don't think so, although I'm sure Namco would have had probable cause ;)

...And So Viper Shot him so he can't do such hateful things ever again
When you finish a level there’s a little bit of Megaman music in there after you beat a boss
