Seriously, thanks for posting this. I saw these guys on the Ruby Vroom tour all the way through El Oso. Love these guys, and was so sad the day they anounced they had split up. They had a great website. The stories behind the lyrics were great.
It's unfortunate that shall never come to be. I'm not one to wish I was a 90's kid (if anything I'd rather have the 2000's) but stuff like this makes me wish I could enjoy it within the time it was in. Perhaps time interferes with our perception of appreciation to the music, because we didn't know this band would die. We love it even more cus it's all we got. I'm grateful to be born and living within the time and generation I'm in and I try to accept it's flaws and not gripe about it every year, but damn, this is a highlight of the 90's right here. What I'd do to get an old boombox and pop in a CD and hear the echo of the songs bounce in my room in the late 90's or early 2000's. I bet it'd be an experience to die for. I'm here to say, IT HAS BEEN DONE! As of posting this, 2024, Soul Coughing is reformed and sounding every bit as good as you'd hope! What a vibe the show in Boston was last night!
GODDD this is some old stuff! i had some of these tracks near a decade ago when i used to trade cassette tapes from live shows via mail. I have since lost them and would love to put together a Soul coughing rarities collection again.. Where did you find all this stuff?
@@brucegriffin1404 yep way back in the day. I think it was called rare indigenous creatures? I traded it for a while. Tons of my cd's and tapes have been stolen or lost over the years though so i don't really have any of that stuff anymore.
