Something I should probably mention with Cloud; the better way to use this tech is to switch to punisher mode in between each dodge instead of pressing attack. This is how you can get it to work in the air
More accurate way to do it is to mash them one after another with no delay, not together. The dodge cancels the attack, which allows you to move quicker and have more chances to time your dodge properly (Important to note that you don't get any more i-frames) I actually haven't tested this tech with neither Sephiroth nor Zack, so I didn't know Zack could do it (I don't have their challenges unlocked)
I think i have used it in the air with cloud, I remember that Odin didn't hit me, while I was in the air, always dodging his attacks and attacking, you just have to be near the enemy

Btw, Zack can do it airborne too. Unless it doesn't count as Deadly Dodge 🤔.
