Another beautiful piece. Do you use a visual reference for your landscapes and still life's? Or are these coming entirely from your imagination? Either way love the work. Still can't find large sheets of sandpaper like you use but will keep looking.

I work differently.
If possible, I put the items for the still life by myself.
I use my photos or video of the area or plants.
Or I make collages in Photoshop from several photos, and then I paint with pastels.

So do you start light then dark or dark light because I have master touch pastel pencil but there really hard
I made an initial sketch with a gray-purple pastel pencil so that the audience could better see the outline.
You can use a shade of pastel pencil which is convenient for you.
Then a black charcoal pencil covers the darkest places in a still life.
After that, we work with color.

La sandpaper è una carta molto adatta per il pastello, non è "acid free", il disegno tra qualche anno rischia di rovinarsi.
Questo è un ottimo materiale per piccoli schizzi!
