gen 3 intros always make me a little emotional
just the pond in the beginning with the music is enough to make me tear up a little 😭
fun fact the ruby/sapphire first intro part has a randomized mc riding the bike and random latios/latias
Surprised not many people are saying HGSS, but the intro from Gold and Silver and the title theme from Crystal makes the best combo of themes imo. (I also love USUM)
BW/2 Supremacy
But! I also really love the DPP Intro and the unsettling music at the end 💕
HGSS is also really good- I remember seeing the Lugia title animation on a friend’s DS as a kid and thinking it looked so realistic. Seeing the Ho-Oh one makes me kinda sad that it looks so stiff 😭
Crystal was my earliest favorites since it was the only one that had little animated movements when on the Pokémon when they were summoned.
It's crazy that "Pokemon Sun & Moon" and "Pokemon Scarlet & Violet" came out on my birthday! ❤
I remember that Platinum had such a different feel when it came out. I remember being in such awe
I love how ominous Gen4's title screens are
Also you just don't get the leap in quality that you used to do in the 2000s and early 2010s as devs got used to the hardware, to go from diamond and pearl and end with black and white 2 is generally crazy in one console generation!
