Thank you Beth. Driving is so important to our independence. Unfortunately many people with macular degeneration are not told about bioptic telescopic glasses and that most states allow them for driving. Virginia, where I live has been licensing people to drive with them for over 20 years.

Sir can bioptic telescope glasses would be available as simple glasses with such a magnfying power with low weight is any research continue or it can be possible or not.

Thanks, good question. Any type of telescope requires a combination of several lenses. That is where the magnification comes from. Sorry, it can't be done with a simple lens.

@@dr.davidarmstrong5881 sir a fixed magnfying power like if a person need 6x bigger to see can it be possible or in simple world fixed power of magnfication needed but fixed as a simple glasses but only focused on far distance
