No you don't have to. You should automatically be given the car from the latest update. I never played nfs 2015 and got the car as soon as I updated the game. You won't be able to purchase the car but it will spawn in your garage for you; they'll be a little pop up message that asks you if you remember Eddies' car from the other game.
