- it's officially back to school season!! I did my back to school shopping at target and picked up some cute basic notebooks, pens, pencils, stapler, etc.

Peridot is the August birthstone, a lovely shade of light green. Makes me wish I’d been born in August! Planners are too expensive, though, you’re right. I never use them, instead I just write myself notes in my iPad Notes app and that’s free 😂
My favorite pens are gel pens in different colors and I prefer regular non-mechanical pencils because I snap mechanical leads from pressing down too hard when speed writing an exam.
Your bookbag is way cuter than the one at Target! The bags with the leather on the bottom give me high school flashbacks, ugh. Not the most fashionable time. But yours… I love it! 💕
I have Skylar Fall Cashmere, too! I think I have Pink Canyon from the discovery set.
I just got a travel size brush at Target, it’s a small version of the Wet Brush.
My favorite granola bars are Larabar and Kind.
Yea I barely ever use a planner 😭 and tyyy I def didn’t like the leather bottom either and I think I made a good choice with my book bag 🥰 also I love skylar perfumes! I’ve also never tried a lara bar so I lowkey want to 💕💕

all you really need for school is like a large notebook that has like alot of pages if you don't really need like a notebook for each class it's good to get the ones with like folders in it so that you could put lose graph paper and your homework and worksheets inside of if you don't need to get any folders and also it's good to have a few note cards if your taking classes like english or social studies and also make sure you have a few pencils like normal or the led ones the led ones are the best because not every teacher has a place for you to re sharpern your pencil because they might not like the mess all over the floor, if your a girl you could probably get a super small makeup bag or like just put it in the front pocket of your backpack like maybe some pads and bandaids and stuff to wipe your hands with.
also i am thinking about for like this up coming school year that is in like starting in about like i think almost three months from now i am probably just going to use one of the same backpacks i have used before i gotten for highschool and cleaning out one of them, also i understand if you don't wanna go all out and stuff and don't wanna spend a lot of money cause you broke or know you want need much or your embrassed but it okay because you could probably still make your school supplies look cute by drawing something on your notebook or like puting stickers on it.

If the cute stuff gets you excited to learn and study, GO FOR IT your education is what's important and if you can find things to get you excited thats even better. Tbh most people wont care. Maybe a few jerks here and there will care but honestly they just jealous of your bravery and the fact their stuff aint as cute.

make sure to carry a hand sanitizer in your backpack/pouch! i love the bath and body works ones, i have like 20 of them 😅 they smell amazing and the packaging is super cute! very convenient to carry around anywhere.

I always had to have fun notebooks. I never could bring myself to have plain stuff. I miss going to get school supplies. I graduated from college in December 2018. I still love watching these videos. I mostly used Jansport backpacks, and I might be retiring my Jansport crossbody backpack I use for shopping at the mall and in Disney.

jansport backpacks are up there in price but no where near as bad as northface, lulu, etc. They last forever too, Ive had one since middle school and I'm a college sophmore now!
