En zonas costeras de Texas las autoridades se preparan para el posible impacto de la tormenta tropical Beryl, que volvería a fortalecerse como huracán. Los residentes han acudido a los centros de distribución de sacos de arena y también están protegiendo sus casas. En 40 condados del estado se anunció la declaración de desastre para asegurar fondos, en caso de que sean necesarios. La zona entre Corpus Christi y Lake Jackson sería la más afectada.
