This is the best prep video for the Solutions Architect interview over many I've watched the last couple of days. Thanks so much, I've got my first technical interview tomorrow 😁
Hey Holly! I found your channel through a post on LinkedIn. Your videos are very informative and have been a huge help in getting myself ready to transition from the Navy after 20 years. Thank you for the quality videos! 😀
Hi Holly, thank you for your content , really helpful . I just passed the first stage of the interview and my recruiter sent an email asking for my salary expectation and I feel like I’ve sent a low figure to her. Is it okay to have the salary conversation with her during our prep call ahead of the final interview ?
OMG. It's #ViktoriaSeaman! 20:05 - 20:45 I really like Elvis's answer. It emanated a sense of relief but also dispelling those common myths about having to always use the S-T-A-R "metho(r)ds". Which also applies to Viktoria's response about the LPs (Leadership Principles) @21:59 - 22:07. 32:32 - 32:52 Question 4 Holly: with that in mind, how do you think that culture within Amazon applies to the saying "jack of all trades & master of none"? In other words, the perception could be as such so how would you respond to that, if so? 35:07 - 35:09 I did not know this. And it's nice you set your own limits. Btw, I just followed you, Holly, on my browser.🧢🙂
It is so hard to say "I" instead of "we" when you are used to be part of a team. When you lead your accomplishments are not just yours, are from all the team.
Why hasn’t the Amazon recruiter responded to me after the phone interview? he said a day after interview that he will have an update for me in a day or so, and now it’s been 8 days since and no response. any suggestion or guidance from your end
Sometimes, they are simply waiting for feedback but your Recruiter should really get back to you within a few days. I'd follow up with this person and the person who interviewed you.
Hey Holly, I have seen your lot of videos regarding the job interview at Amazon. These all are really helpful videos. Recently, I have received an email for AWS logistics coordinator position interview. It's a phone screening interview for 1hour. It is not cleared in there how the process will be. Will it be behavioural round or technical and how can I prepare for that? Can you please guide me in this topic?
My recruiter done a prep interview but went through everything fast and did not help for the interview and the interview was done half way because one of the recruiters were sick how unprofessional
Sorry you didn’t get a positive experience, as candidate nurturing is highly critical to help them succeed in the interview process. This is not just Amazon, all employers has recruitment team with areas for improvement.

Do I need a solution architect certification before I get a job as a solution architect?
You do not if you already have the tech experience.

I highly encourage to wait and focus on the interview as if you meet the bar and inclined to hire, you will have more leverage to negotiate!
how long should i wait for any answer from the Amazon team after my first phonescreen call?
Depends on the recruiter. Have you follow up after a few days?
@@HollyLeeCoaching i holly, i have'nt. it was holidays but i will follow up today.

I completely agreed with you. Took me many years to change that mindset.
Any ideas of things to build? do they mean example projects on github?
Always great to show off projects you have done on your CV, such as Gibhub!
@@HollyLeeCoaching honored you replied!
Hi Holly hope you are doing well I watched so many videos for my interview but still didn't get a job they only hire you if they like you
Keep on pushing as even Amazon Bar Raisers has failed attempts.

It shouldn't be technical for a coordinator role except for what software program or database you use.
