  • Find out why Rosnolvan Agri, based near Athy, (Co. Kildare, Ireland), chose a Volvo L60H when buying a new loading shovel for its contracting operations.

If money were no object I’d have specced it with a joystick control rather than the multi controls on a valve block.

To be fair the Volvo is probably the better machine just in a different league

Yes many people here in nz operate volvo's to 24000 hours with little problems until they strike a major problem

Better than a light tractor but not by much

Strange how they struggled with just 1 harvester when Lyons had a 414s and it could keep up with 2 big Deere harvesters and just across the road guess its all down to the drivers. Volvo will take more abuse but that big frame in the middle makes it crap for precision work harder to see the old JCB's you sat on the front would be better again. JCB will last along time if looked after

The JCB joystick for the loader is way better, also dont likethat big thing in the middle of your sight.

With brexit coming JCB will be expensive in EU to buy

People will buy less JCB's then. They are allready more expensive then most other brands, and if it will increase i see a lot off customers changing brand.

They also manufacture in Germany so that shouldn't be a big problem. If you look at their web site they have most continents covered.

@@colinsandford4500 Not everything is build in Germany.. So the vehicles that are build in the UK might be more expensive in the future (because off the Brexit). I talked to some business people (not from JCB) from the UK and they don't like the Brexit because they will lose clients because off it.

EkiM doesn’t bother me. We have a jcb and it’s the greatest pile of dirt I have ever sat in. Nothing but trouble bullshit alarms diesel problem electric problem, solenoid problems, everything under the sun. Therefore it’s does nothing now. Only has 2500 hours

@@ferguson20diesel49 Doesn't bother me either. In my area they talk good stuff about JCB but we run a Merlo now for over 10 years and are happy with it! + They still wanna give a good price for it if you buy a new one but we didn't accept. And a new merlo is like 60% off the price as a same model off JCB!
