Orange Cassidy and Darby Alin sold the heck out of Lee moves and made his return to his best form very memorable 🔥. Hope this is leading to a great push for Lee....

FACTS.
This match was completely insane from start to finish. I loved every second of it. Everyone just had such natural chemistry with each other, everything just clicked.
Darby getting crushed like that was nuts, I can't believe he did that.
I wasn't sold on the concept of this whole "Blind Tournament" until I saw this match. It's just about cool combinations of people having awesome matches without regard to heel/babyface lines.
I hope this FINALLY leads to Keith vs Swerve in a singles match.

Swerve Strickland has been the most improved wrestler of 2023. Man has it all
I've been behind Swerve now for a while after seeing him BReakout and do more stuff in AEW . I JUST WISH they let him win more and did something with him. He's great. Dude could definitely be built to be a main eventer for this company if done right.

Keith Lee crushing Darby under the ringsteps was amazing. And he probably never even noticed Darby was trapped the whole time.
kayfabe probably didn't notice, but if you look close he climbs the far side of the steps from where Darby was trapped to probably keep from adding too much weight onto him

Surprised Swerve in our Glory lost tbh, thought we’d continue reheating the tension of enemies who are still good tag partners. Good match though, really made an effort to show that Lee needs a lot to be broken down

Keith Lee looks so much better now than when he actually came, both physically and presentation wise, glad to see that he has gotten over his health issues and that AEW seem to have figured out how to present him
Tbf on AEW he’s always been presented well it’s just he’s only ever around for 5 minutes and then out again. Hopefully he can stay healthy love the guy

I think there was miscommunication. It's not unusual the wrestlers are getting so worked up that they forget they're supposed to tag.

Yeah I don’t mind too much when the right guy isn’t tagged in but when you hear someone involved in the match shout they’re not legal it ruins it. I’m low-key confused what the plan was, as there wasn’t really a spot where Lee could of tagged out, maybe post 450 and tagging the downed Keith but idk

Another very entertaining match by all competitors. Very impressive, wrestling that actually told a story. Only wish these marches had build up to get us emotionally invested from the beginning.

Why they pinned Swerve? At 1:59 the Ref counts on Keith Lee, and between this Pin Attemp and the End of the Fight, Keith Lee and Swerve never Tag'ed. But still Great Match despite the end was a Big Botch.
Edit: At 2:24 the Ref also tells that Ketih Lee "is Legal"

Was for sure Keith and Swerve would've won with Cassidy focused on the International Championship and Darby who'd rather win them with Sting.

With both being small, white, 160 pound, lightweights… Cassidy and Darby really shouldn’t be constantly teaming together and winning 100% of the time.
