It's been a bit but Jeff and Jared are finally back in the studio for a new episode of the MTB Podcast. In today's episode, the guys discuss why we haven't been as active on social media and our plans for the studio at our shiny new SoCal shop. They also go over a few new products from SRAM, Peaty's, Berd wheels, and more!
The guys then take a long look at the pros and cons of the various MTB suspension platform options as well as debate which Revel bike, the Rail, Rascal, or Ranger, is the 1 bike to do it all. And we can't forget the outlook of the bike industry for 2021. Will it be more of the same or will we finally start seeing products come back in stock?
Jeff and Jared also share some hilarious personal stories, one bike-related...the other not so much. Finally, the guys close things out going over new products and upcoming reviews we will be doing, answer a few listener's questions, and share what they have been riding the last month. Enjoy!

I was in Moab back in late August. Busted my chain at the very top of Capt. Ahab (at least my timing was good). Was solo, forgot to pack a chain breaker, no one around, so I put the chain in my pocket and rode it down chainless. The silence and the rear end action was awesome. Ran into a small group at the very bottom, was able to fix my chain through them, went back up and came back down with a chain. I definitely noticed a difference in the rear end action of the bike between chain/no-chain. Gwin won a race with no chain, I enjoyed the rear-end action of the bike with no chain....I am beginning to think chains are overrated. haha

Peaty's naming scheme is cool, but Snafu BMX made tires called Knob Job, (Dirt jumping) and Rim Job (Flatland) way back in the Harold "McGoo" McGruther days (late '90s) Somehow, even in my late 40s, "Rim Job" hasn't stopped being funny.

The 2021s are sold out... ☝️But the 2022s should be available by Fall. Or so I'm told..
