- We're going live, taking your questions and comments, in the wake of the Canadian GP. What about Max's drive in the last ten laps of the race? And how good was Lando? Monaco, meanwhile, seemed light years away for Ferrari. Lots to talk about, too, in the build-up to the June 23 Spanish GP at Barcelona. As ever, we're looking forward to taking your questions and comments on TH-cam chat.

Nick: you're with us always
One of the strongest races I have seen in a while. There was great driving all over the track. Max rose to the top by Driving the wheels off that car.
Thanks for another great stream Peter. I love the way you interact with the people in the chat. You are a fountain of knowledge but so humble and willing to share your knowledge.
Alwayssuper clear concisive., The BEST commentator without rival, Shame he's not LIVE on each GP this year!
A b division of F1 with young drivers and old cars would be so amazing!!!!!!!
I thought Hamilton not wanting to pursue the AD21 through legal channels was one of the reasons Mercedes decided to stop trying to challenge it.
I think if a car is driveable the driver should always either try to return to the pits, or find a safe exit road. Should also try to use VSC instead of safety car & for only the sectors affected.
Hello Peter, as an American, I'm upset about Andretti. F1 don't seem to be interested in showing the best of the best. They rather make rules to keep a team from running away it.
Hadjar is one of the many drivers drastically outperforming moneybags Bearman
Peter, you can adjust the color of the race in Google calendar by going to settings with the three lines, click settings, and click the race color and change it to what you want.
About if the other teams have caught up with RB might be a good topic to adress with Scarb?
Lewis tried to suck George into out-braking himself by slight jinks to the right but George is a great driver and spotted his braking point perfectly. Lewis does that when he's slower than the car behind. Some of the more memorable times when he did that was vs Massa in 2007 Malaysia, Nico 2014 Bahrain, tried it on Max, Alonso and others. I've seen him do it in F3 races.
And on to a wet patch
Peter is the best! His coverage is Un-ironically better than any of the "Official" coverage or pundits.
Carlos in Alpine
For me a perfect 2026 f1 car would have a N/A v10 with e fuel. 600kg weight and
Hi wat happened to the A1 grand prix why not bring it back as a F1 B team race
Last 10 laps Lando had his hands full trying to keep Russel, on fresh tyres, behind him. End of the race was probably the easiest part of the race for Max
senior moment
The whole point of Sainz preferring Williams over Sauber IS short-term. Stay as relevant as possible and quickly move to a better seat. He doesn’t want to waste his prime in the lower half.
Williams has plans and want to move forward probably one the reasons he choose williams. Williams has a fast car tbh.
@@PauluzP a fast car? I don’t agree with that, but it’s points total is definitely under-representative due to Sargeant and Albon’s crashes.
They should be above Alpine with better driver performance, maybe Haas. The trend has been consistently upward though, albeit from the worst car on the grid a couple years ago.
Anyway, I think Sainz is just treading water and will jump at the first decent seat that opens from 2025 onward.
Does Peter not realize this is the first year Russell has outqualified Hamilton over the season? And it aint over yet. Hamilton won the qualifying battle in 22’ and last year they were dead even. Why didnt any of the live chatters mention that to him?
How does Ferrari decide to save a set of softs knowing that its gonna be a wet race with most likely scenario being mediums needed. Why do they keep making these poor decisions. Its frustrating although they have not been as bad as previous
So George had 4 track violations and nothing. No penalty,.? Im not supprised.
Lewis had 6, where's your outrage?
Looks like AI for Naomi, not good
Red Bull's manipulation of the race is interesting, I remember Flavio being banned for a similar thing. Asking Sergio to endanger others by getting him to drive to the pits with a seriously damaged car (when he should have stopped earlier, according to the rules), just so that Max wouldn't be hindered by a safety car, deserved more than a small fine (and a 3 place penalty for Sergio). Takes the shine off Max's win somewhat, but I doubt irrational Max fans will understand that.
What are you talking about? Every team would have done that. Hamilton didn’t park the car at the side of the track when he has a tyre blowout at silverstone. He went in and won the race and no one had a problem with that
are you *diots, like honestly?
lol you Redbull haters are full out deluded. The amount of times ive seen teams drag cars with no suspension, tyres missing, wings missing to the pits is endless. Schumacher driving with 3 wheels, Hamilton winning races in a car with 4 blown out tyres lol. And btw, there was a safety car less then 30 seconds after Perez from Sainz and Albon crashing so Mclaren and Mercedes still got their chance. I doubt irrational cement brain fans like you would understand.
You missed the end where we all found out a safety car did come out after that so it’s irrelevant
Nonsense. The car was drivable anyone would do the same
Peter is such a Max Homer 😅
Actually he is a lewis fan but you can't say anything positive about him these days
That s because he is a f1 fan
"EXCUSES"?? A Prime Example of the Dangers of "Free Speech"!! Haters Will be Haters!! Ham is Finding that even his own TEAM has NO Appreciation of him. (As though 2021 wasn't Proof ENOUGH!!)
Great videos. The argument that Lewis is not as quick as George over one lap because Lewis has less on the line is redic and the ultimate Lewis apologist argument. He drives slower because he cares less or is scared of possibly crashing and he would rather be safe at this point in his career than win? No way that is true. He is just old and was never the god yall appoint him as. Has throughout his career been in by far the best car and has never had a teammate that was close to him in skill until now. He was a get out of jail free card in this cancel culture- they made sure he won. They let Nico go when he beat him as they told him in order to re-sign he would have to agree to losing to Lewis every week. So he retired after winning the title. That says it all. Great driver but didn’t deserve 7 titles.
Fernando wasn't close to him in skill? Nico rosberg? The same guy that chose to retire, he was not forced out. The same guy that talks about how good lewis is, I'm sure you know more than the likes of nigel mansell and Sebastian vettel, or max verstappen just off the top of my head, and you must have an insight none of the drivers or teams have to know he's not good. To ask the question too, if lewis isn't any good than who is? He doesn't have to be the best of all time but it's pretty ridiculous to say he's average
It’s so easier to pick apart these kinds of arguments that are stuffed with hyperbole, bogus narratives, contradictions and grievance. But what’s the point?
Any truth to the rumors that Mercedes are hampering Lewis in favor of George?
Don't see it maybe around September..not way f1 works u don't hamper 2nd driver you need the 2nd driver bull don't went perez down in 8th
He's getting whooped by Russell and his cry baby fan base can't handle it.
@@TMJ32 You sound emotional calling other people emotional.
@@RickAnderson19 tired of the whining. It's so annoying. The dude got beat deal with it.
Utter garbage peddled by frustrated Hamilton fans, admittedly not helped by Hamiltons rather ambigious post race interview in Monaco.l after quali.. which he swiftly backtracked on post race
That take about Perez and his fine was just....pathetic?
-Peter, what do you think about Max 50th win of the last 75 races.
Peter responses with 3 minutes rant about Newey.
Peter Hates Verstappen Perez and all of the Red bull with all his heart. Sad to see really that much salt and toxicity.
I dnt see that at all
He's always going on about Max and the extremely high level he drives at. What are you talking about?
Don't see that
Nope, not true. He has said many many times how ridiculous good max is and how he loves to see him racing and attacking the corners. So, not true, imo
@@ab8jeh he's always going o about there is basically no difference between max, lewis charles etc. all the difference is newey. where it was clear recently the main diifference is Max. Peter even went as far as saying even piastri(among the long list of drivers) who's been trashed by norris would've won a championship in this years' red bull . open your eyes dude. Peter is a world class hypocrite. he praise max, knowing he's by far the most popular driver currently to get more subs. Everytime he makes it about Newey ultimately.
Hi Peter, In reaction to your comment @ 1h57:
I think the stewards and you did not think this through. Yes the RB-logic of Sergio returning to the pitlane to prevent a SC is a bit dangerous, but:
If this is the new rule, what would you do with a car that breaks a front wing, and keeps running multiple laps at higher speeds, shedding Carbon all over the track? Or a car racing back to the pitlane with a puncture? Should these cars all park and invoke a SC?
I would applaud the teams that try to keep the race about racing, not about invoking safetycars.
The thing is that a punctured tyre or a front wing can be repaired in pit lane and the car will be able to continue, whereas a rear wing cannot.
14 hours uploaded. And only 57 comments.. yeah it's official . The Lewis crybaby fans have run back under their Rock 😂😂😂😂😂
Spot on!
46:37 How is Jeddah boring? It has produced some decent races and the drivers absolutely love it.
49:04 George made the move into the corner, not because of DRS. Lewis could've defended that much better.

Great content again Mr Windsor👍👍. Great to hear we are going to revisit the past.. you do that so superbly and I really enjoy that. Heroes from my past, driving the iconic cars I had on my electric miniature race track
Great idea, but I would have thought the cost of all the earth movement to create the contours of Brands Hatch would be prohibitive, let alone the full Nurburgring.
Great content as always, Peter! If you allow me just to point out that the angle of the camera combined with the glasses is not really working. There's a constant reflex on your eyes. Obrigado
Maybe Sainz is thinking a Mercedes motor in '26 would be good.
Great stuff PW, thank you, pls. keep up the v. good work.
Hi Peter from NSW Australia
Thanks Peter
🇮🇪🏁great race again
