I love how you both find these wonderful places to visit! Was born and raised in PA but never heard about this castle! Your vlogs are always researched so well and filled with amazing facts! I liked hearing about how it was constructed. Another GREAT job by you two!!
I remember visiting the Castle, tile works, and museum In town as a kid in the late 70s. The line for the castle took forever to get through just to get inside. Upon my last visit the castle tour was by appointment only so I wasn’t able to tour it. Very disappointing indeed. Don’t know if I’ll ever get to go again but I’d like too. Maybe someday again, the estate is beautiful although these days Doylestown itself not so much.
Ahhh.. the original farm house. This mercer guy built nothing. Old world buildings are founded. Already here for the generational wealthy to occupy. Let's see the pictures of the old farm house and the workers actually working.
There are many pictures of the workers and the castle being built. It is much larger in all ways than the farmhouse so yes, he built a lot (plus the tile works and the museum). Perhaps you should take a few minutes to learn the facts before judging. The castle is incredible, I highly recommend.
Every part was amazing and so expertly detailed by The Traveling Stewart’s…..and to think, the castle is only 40 minutes from where I live, who knew!
Right?! You should definitely check it out!
Great video..I listened while I walked the adventure
That’s great! Thanks for listening!

Thanks so much! Pennsylvania has tons of hidden gems like this castle!
Been there, GO.
Beyond stunning!!!
So incredible!
Thank you
Thanks for sharing . Can we visit the castle ourselves or we need tour guide?
Of course! When we went, you had to do a guided tour.

Oh that’s too bad! We were lucky to go in winter because hardly anyone else was there.
Nice castle

We would have loved to see what the original farmhouse and property looked like.
