Alex puts in a lot of thought and effort into every video. For you to recognize it means so much to me and it’ll mean a lot to him to. Keep the love coming for Alex! Without him, this wouldn’t be possible 😮💨✊🏽
FIVB 11.2 does say you can penetrate into the court under the net but it also specifically states your penetrating foot has to remain in contact with or directly above the center line, so i still think you wouldn't be allowed to do that
man me and my indoor club team have this same kind of humor while playing it feels nostalgic watching you guys!!! love the content and keep grinding boss!!!
Love your content! Im an outside in a Men’s league in BC and didn’t play in a club as well so it’s great watching you grow with your team! You’re an inspiration keep it up!❤
@@MKVB.2 Metro Vancouver, specifically Surrey, it gets kinda competitive so I luv the way you keep a positive mindset with ur team! Def tryna do the same with my team while trying to improve myself👍. Keep up the good work Marco!🫶
LOL true, but I feel like Ryan had the better angle of it so he made the right call 😂 Caleb misses his serve right after, so the serve errors cancelled each other out haha
For the tips about passing from the left side, it’s all about dropping your right shoulder in order to get more angle and surface area to pass the ball without shanking. It goes the same for the right side, for your right side drop ur left shoulder. For left side when passing drop ur right shoulder. Passing against a wall with a ball and emphasis on the shoulder drop with reps will help. Focus on the things you aren’t comfortable with in Volleyball and you will evolve. I Hope my tips about passing on your left side helps you out for the future in ur vball career MaKuro! 😈💪🏽🏐
Damn I appreciate this so much! I struggle hard with dropping my right shoulder, idk why. But I appreciate the tips and feedback dude! Imma start training this asap ✊🏽
@@MKVB.2 I forgot to mention another thing as well! When you do drop your shoulder you also want to synchronize opening ur leg and hips as well. So for passing for your left side for example, drop ur right shoulder but also open your left hip and put your leg back a tiny bit. It’s hard to explain but if you analyze some serve receive Liberos, you can see they put their leg back as well. They open their hips and also drop their shoulders in a fluid manner. But In summary drop your shoulders when passing and open ur hips by putting ur leg back. So left side passing= dropping ur right shoulder then drop left leg back opening up ur left hip. Then right side passing= left shoulder drop then also dropping right leg back opening up ur right hip. Hope that helps you out more with this skill! 💪🏽
when you pass on your left side, take a step as if you're opening up with your left leg. that way you can drop your shoulder easier, i notice you step with your right to pass from your left, you're going against your own body at that point. i hope you can take something from this!
Ayy man I appreciate this! Totally makes sense to step with my left. That way my shoulders can drop and create more of an angle toward the setter. I’ll be sure to remember this and use it in future games/training Thank you sir!!
In the freeze at 34:29 you can see Ryan(I think?) looking straight down at where the foot/leg would be. I would like to give him the benefit of a doubt that with that clear of a look it would be the correct call. As for the rule 11.2 I hate that specific because whos the ref(When there is one) to say where the other teams was planning on stepping and if they decided to divert because of the leg. Personal preference is anything under the net should be called. For safety and consistence. Just my opinion though.
Oh yeah he definitely saw it and made the call. It is tough when there is no ref to be making these calls, but we try to just respect the calls that are being made. At the end of the day, there are rules for a reason and if someone calls it just respect it as much as you can. From a safety perspective I 100% agree that anything under the net is a hazard Appreciate your opinion about this dude!
Yo Marco my man, nice content once again, loved the intermission talk and Calebs facial reaction to it. Wondering what you guys are talking about not really sure if he wants to join the conversation or just stand there and listen LMAO. Also Matt and you talking to each other is always a vibe. Also I had one idea, I would be super interested to hear from you guys where/how/when you got started with Volleyball, obviously only if the guys want to talk to the camera/us. Did you guys play in Highschool/College or just played hobby in Open Spaces. Matt, Caleb, Aiden and you Marco would interest me in particular, Franz also a beast as Libero but I think you already told us last video where his skill comes from :) Sorry if this is something that you already told us in a prior video maybe in between sets or something, I'm bad at remembering stuff lol. Keep it up boyss, wishing you lots of success
Hello! First off, thank you for the love for this video. It means a lot to Alex and I. Second, that would be a dope idea! Alex and I were already planning on doing a more interactive approach with the team before each set and some stuff after the game. I do like what you're proposing tho. The idea of having my teammates talk about their experience in volleyball would be a good to connect the viewers to the rest of the team :) Thank you for your input and support. We'll do our best to release quality content as fast as we can
What i like about your content is that, its very relatable. Uni level or Pro level are hard for me to relate. Keep up the great work and Im glad i found your channel bro
34:23 I only know USAV rules for indoor and you cannot put your foot all the way across the center line. The rule about not interfering is generally a sand ball rule (here 🇺🇲 anyway). I would like a *stricter* rule about crossing the center line personally. Too many ankles get destroyed in there. The More You Know 💫
For recieving on the left side i would advice you to put your left foot in Front of your right one, by that your Body will atomatically Turn a bit in to the center of the court. Hope this helped
Do you recommend your WoW Son of Flash for volleyball? I've been thinking about getting new shoes but don't know if I should buy them or the asics sky elite ff
I tip for your blockning i would say is to instead of trying to reach for the ball and using your arms to do so, try to just place your whole body where you want to block and then go straight up and press over with your arms as much as you can, that Way the hitters Will have a way harder time tooling your block
