Pain remains isn’t 3 separate songs, it’s one 20 minute song
Maybe they released the 3 parts separately because the label told them to do so
Or maybe they thought their audience wouldn’t listen to a 20min song all the way through
Nonetheless, it’s a 20 minute epic and it’s meant to be listened that way
You can listen and enjoy the 3 songs separately, but if you only listen to the first part, that song ends abruptly

First of I think Disembodied Tyrant is one man solo project and Synestesia is a full band from Finland. So the collab was basically one additional member to the other band and not two full bands making music together. And the other thing is that this is IMO the weakest track of their EP. You should have started with Winter. All four tracks off that EP borrow ideas from Vivaldi's Four Seasons but in Winter it's most obvious (name of the track and maybe the most recognisable part of Vivaldi's composition)
Synestia is a two-man band.

Final boss soundtrack. Bit like the italian apocalipse. I mean... is powerfull but is a bit too much in terms of "some one fall into lava screaming type of vibe" in my opinion. Respectfully. Not exacly my cup of tea.
I was asking the same question, who did what, buuut, I really liked the song, just what I want from symphonic deathcore.
I would suggest that you listen to more songs from this EP.

Judging from the songs I heard from these two bands. I'd assume that Blake Mullens the mastermind of DT is most likely the mastermind of this poetic edda project. He also did all the productions just as the album cover says. So I think he also took a big part in the songwriting.

IMO this form of metal is so lifeless and try-hard....technicallly it's brutal but yet somehow boring and very predictable. to many breakdowns that all have the same build up. Lorna Shore sucks and this sucks equally
