  • Check out how I created my BEST twist n curl EVER using Rapunzel The Future of Hair products. After apply the deep conditioner I sat under my hooded dryer for 30minutes and rinsed. After applying the perm rods at about 3:30pm I let them dry all day (I wore a "fashion scarf" over the rods) and all night. To preserve this style I pull all my hair forward and tie my satin scarf around my hair.

      +_HerNameIsME i have but it doesn't look so well on my hair as yours. i think i need to find my "staple" products for defined looks like this. i typically only use evoo so i need a good holding cream. when i tried it my hair was not defined at the twist but it had a nice curl where the perm rod started ;/

    Thank you for sharing...video was very helpful and gave me life to wanting to keep trying different methods with the perm rods...what products did you use for this style? And what tips do u have for 4c hair?

    • @ShanequaJana
      @ShanequaJana  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Mystique Dsignz The products I used are in the caption above and tips would be using a denman brush to smooth the hair before adding the rods.

    did u find the product to be moisturizing? greasy? I'm curious....i was thinking of trying it. i need a good moisturizer for my fine hair. something not too heavy yet provides great moisture. your hair looks great btw!

    Why did you do the rods at different lengths?

    • @chrissymonet9374
      @chrissymonet9374 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So that it would have more volume and all the curls won't fall to the same length. I only answered because she didn't. Lol

    • @ShanequaJana
      @ShanequaJana  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Delorse Moore Exactly what she said. To provide more volume and different lengths.

    • @ShanequaJana

      Yes I do

      +_HerNameIsME I plan on doing this style tonight. how would you recommend the lengths of the rods in each section ? longer in the back and shorter in the front ?

    • @ShanequaJana
      @ShanequaJana  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Letisha Foster it depends on how you want your hair to be shaped. The shorter the more volume

    • @letishafoster4726
      @letishafoster4726 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +_HerNameIsME I'm going to try my best to have it the same way you did yours. I love your definition 😍 I just don't know how to do the rods
