Hi Thomas, is your Prostormer impact wrench variable speed? I'm considering ordering one from Aliexpress, which claims that the speed is 0-3400RPM, so I don't know if that's continuously variable from zero to full speed. Thanks in advance.

Mine is variable speed to a certain degree. Not as smooth as more expensive options, but the trigger is variable.

@@SouthpawWorkshop Thanks, I've just ordered one of these from Aliexpress (1100W/450Nm) which is cheaper than a Posenpro 550W model. I'm not worried about the hog ring on the anvil. I know the Posenpro has a spring loaded detent pin, but at least with the hog ring anvil, the anvil has no weak point as there's no hole. The Posenpro comes with spare brushes, but I'll probably never wear out a set and they're easily purchased anyway. I'm only buying it for doing vehicle wheel nuts as well as my car scissor lift jack. It'll be used at home, so a mains powered unit was a better choice than going battery powered.
