I can't control my tears. let's keep praying for GSS, lets all contribute out quota to the restructuring of the school. So that me may have every cause to gaze and gaze on thee. In addition to the headboy list. 1) Dr Nasiru O. Jimoh, 2008 (MBBS UNILORIN) 2) Dr John Dada 2009 (MBBS Russia) 3) Engr Lawal Lukman 2010 (ABU) 4) Myself, Dr Ahmed Mahmud 2011 (MBBS UDUS). indeed our great Gss is still producing greatly to the society. .
Sir, I doubt your source of information on the list of headboys to be perfectly correct. There was no such name as “Oba Imam” appointed as the headboy of GSS Ilorin in 1978. The headboy appointed then was Ikechukwu Aporo, an Ibo student on Exchange Programme from the then East Central State. Also, on your Abubakar Muhammad of 1980-headboy (I believe you were referring to a graduating student on Exchange Programme from the old Kaduna State), I think that the 1980-headboy appointed was one Mohammed Salisu, a Lafiagi-Pategi graduating student of old Kwara. I will rather say well-done to you for the great works you had done on this Stallion - GSS! Meanwhile, l miss the 1976-headboy (being my “senior” college brother), 1977-headboy (a GSS sprinter), 1979-headboy (a WAEC-Distinction student) and Alh A O Kamal (Principal 1978-82), the disciplinarian, who walled the school premises in 1979. Primus inter-pares!
Am proud of my school💯💯👌 No Struggle No Success
